Please do not support the many fake GoFundMe campaigns on my channel. The creators of almost every gofundme campaign I’ve seen on my channel do not have the proposed recipient’s contact information, and in David’s case, neither do I. David was not staying in one place and had no phone or bank account. He was just passing by my studio. I’m keeping an eye out for David and if I find him I’ll try to establish a reliable way to help him, but until then, please do not donate to these rogue gofundme campaigns.

These videos are eye opening in that so many children have horribly horrific childhoods where they are scarred for life and it’s a struggle even with the best therapy and care.

Back in H.S. they were "problematic" teens, getting in trouble daily, drugging + drinking, etc., and then one of the H.S. Counselors there suggested *Job Corps* to them or else, ( _he told them_ ) 'youre gonna end up on the streets or in prison at some point' ; Im glad they took his advice at the time, cause seeing them both a decade later, I really got to see the end results and they were *positive* !! Have you ever watched one of those movies that's set a hundred years ago, and depicts these rag-tag kids in the slums of NY or wherever, and you think to yourself "Why was everyone so elitist back then? Pushing the poor and neglected aside while they dine in fine restaurants." Well, that is exactly what is happening today, with this kid. It's always been the same, and in a hundred years the next generations will look back on us and think the same. We're no different than the people that walked this earth hundreds of years ago, scoffing at and avoiding the less-fortunate. We all of a sudden feel so compassionate for at least watching these tragic stories, and maybe giving it a like or a comment. Hell, if we share it we might just be in line for a sainthood. But all of that is only because everything is presented to us in cinematic HD, whereas when you see it on the streets, right in front of you, you shy away and turn the other cheek. We need a collective, societal epiphany that'll help us realise how wrong we've doing things; it's never too late to change.

For someone like this who has gone through so much trauma, asking him to talk about it without any support afterwards is really irresponsible and dangerous. He needs a safe and therapeutic environment to begin to deal with any of that stuff and he certainly doesn't have it in his life, nor getting it from an 11 minute impromptu street interview.

Child neglect & abuse in my opinion is the root to many many Adult issues. I have a friend who was abused by a step father and the description of the abuse is haunting… and will forever be with him. He was locked in an unfinished basement by his step father while being told there are monsters down there with him. As an Adult myself, I’d even be scared to be in a dark basement, because I myself would be thinking of what could be down there. It’s seriously traumatic for any child like I said, and will stay with/haunt that person for life.

Liam Adam Sandler my sister in law fosters. She did in for genuinely good intentions. And the state gives absolutely 0 help. Kids come heavily damaged and they can’t do anything to help, gotta get permission from bio parents if they have parental rights still just to give them hair cuts. If they break any rule even by getting them a hair cut to clean them up the state will come take them. Foster/adoption needs serious reform.
