  • I went to the oldest Arabic-style mosque in China. The mosque is called Qing Jing Mosque (清净寺) which means peaceful and clean. It is located in Quanzhou, Fujian Province. Quanzhou was a major trade center of the east, known to the world as Zayton. Follow me and take a look at this mosque and learn the history behind it!

    Woah, Malaysian's muslim here, I came from your viral vid and am lucky to find this within 24 hours of uploading! It's fascinating to know that there is a Mosque in China from thousands of years ago still standing, especially knowing it was built just 30 years after hijrah!

    This made me emotional. Thanks for sharing. I’m a Muslim from the U.S. (mixed Arab and white), but I instantly feel a connection to all my brothers and sisters in faith worldwide and throughout the centuries. It’s fascinating to see small glimpses of how things spread and endured. I would love to visit China one day!

    Thank you for this video, very interesting to know more about our Islamic history in China.
    So just to be clear, the oldest mosque in China is built 30 Hijri (0:17) but the one you visited and made the video about is built 400 Hijri (1:20), is that correct?

    • @phoenixhou4486
      @phoenixhou4486  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes. But the oldest one is a Chinese-style mosque, and the one I visited is the oldest Arabic-style mosque in China

      What does that have to do with this video? If we’re pointing out random things to not forget, then let’s add to that the Nanjing Massacre, the fact that the U.S. is built upon the genocide of the indigenous people. Lots of things we should not forget.
