By the logic, is Israel treating Muslims in Gaza friendly because you can go to a mosque in the west bank and find ppl who say there is no issue?
My concern with China is when was confronted with a video of Chinese moving prisoners with heads shaved, bound, and blindfolded en masse, their ambassador said "this is just how we move prisoners" and refused to provide court case documents.

Don't worry about us, issues do exist but mostly we're fine.
Immigration is a recent event so acceptance takes time, and Muslims in the West have to deal with the 1000 years of animosity due to close proximity with the West, so there are historical factors.
But, on the whole, we're fine, especially in Britain. Although, other Western countries do have worrisome issues.
The Muslims in Europe actually have roots in their own countries where they can return to. The Chinese Muslims live in their own homeland so there's a difference.

The mosque is older than the founding of America and this is not even the oldest mosque in China. The oldest mosque in China is the Huaisheng Mosque in Guangzhou built in 629 AD. Guess when the prophet passed away, 632 AD. Guess whose tomb the mosque housed, Saad Bin Abi Waqqas, a companion of the Prophet.
The Uighurs only converted to Islam if not mistaken in the 13 or 14th century. The biggest Muslim ethnic group is not the Uighur but the Hui ethnic. Muslims have been living in China for 14 centuries. Muslims in China are not immigrants.....and Westerners esp Americans wonder why Islamic countries do not condemn China. The architecture of some of the oldest mosques in China are considered holy by Muslims all over the world. Hence, those who know history know about the US BS about Xinjiang.
The terrorism in Xinjiang was funded by none other than the US.....try to grow some common sense, could there be such an old Islamic community and civilization in China if they are oppressed.

There were articles a while back with examples of mosque in china with Chinese architectural elements. The used these as an example of China attempt to erase Islamic culture. Some of these pictures were totally fake, using two different mosque and passing it off as a before and after of the same one. Some people actually belive this stuff. These mosque were built centuries ago, 😅 that's how buildings looked, what were they expecting?

There are many accounts of suppression of religious minorities in China, sometimes large scale.. Ethnic minorities trampled on, with a few paid to do 'traditional dances' in traditional clothes for tourists.
I am not for the west, east, south or north, but I am still not convinced that the people there went through an easy transition of being mandarinized. The mosques have been there for centuries and there are clear evidence of how they have been changed to suit the one China policy.

Keep up the good work Danny! There is a mosque right down the street from my home here in Guangzhou city and Muslims gather there every Friday afternoon. There are also a number of churches around the city for Christians. One time I saw a Buddhist monk taking a selfie in front of the Sacred Heart Cathedral.
Muslims flock to the mosque multiple times each day in Arab world.

People in the West do not understand how people live in countries with a great diversity of ethnic groups, China has 56, Russia has 190+. Xinjiang has been part of China since Qianlong's generals calmed the unrest of the Dzungars with the help of the Mongolian tribes. Being united as a great country means prosperity, not letting foreign agents divide and conquer. Thank you! I nearly went to Xinjiang with my brother this week, I have never been to China but my brother loves going to Xinjiang, he's been on the Silk Road a few times. I will go at a later date.

Uyghurs used to non-Muslims; they were from Mongolia before. Xinjiang used to be called Xi Yu (the western region) in old Chinese history, diverse in tribes and cultures, being in mid way between MIiddle East, India and China. Lots of Buddists' temples too. But by 10th Century, Muslilm spread and took hold of the area; Buddism was pushed out of the area completely.
