We all know about the Birmingham Copy of the Quran which is 1300 years old, never new there was one in this mosque as well and same old period. It makes me happy to know that the value of Islam really is universally beautiful, unchanged with time. And masyaa Allah, Arabic language especially Quran ayahs are beautiful regardless of the ethnicity of the people who recites it, may Allah makes it easy for us who's still learning on how to recite Quran correctly.
I miss visiting the mosques in china. They are truly a piece of great history part of china. The people, the food, their earnest faith in islam are admirable.
Maasha’Allah, beautiful historical masjid, and their pronunciation was perfect of Arabic, it was very encouraging and appropriate calling masjid instead of mosque, masjid is the right word to use for place of worship for the Muslims❤
Xianyang International Airport. There are plenty of hotels in the Muslim Quarter, depending on your budget. We booked 3 units of apartments which consist of 2 bedrooms in every unit. We prefer apartments because they have a living room and a small kitchen. The apartment is near to the Muslim Quarter area and accessible by train.
Absolutely stunning ! JazakaAllah kheiran for sharing your knowledge and showing to the world the beauty of this mosque. Muslims in China have lived together with the local people for 1400 years, and they are highly integrated with the local people, maintaining their traditions and having their own unique contents.
I've definitely noticed a little bit of strain - my Chinese roommate had a few complaints about Muslims that were odd to me. He didn't like the affirmative action policies, and also seemed surprisingly insulted that Muslims don't eat pork! Clearly, he was from a very distant precinct.
@@boriscangalovic my roommate was complaining that muslims would be preferentially selected to go to Chinese colleges over native Chinese people because they were a minority. Which honestly to me sounds like the better solution is to expand the school's capacity 🤷♂️ but it's not like America does that either so I can't judge. In both America and China, limiting enrollment and giving preferential treatment just ends up with resentment, regardless of how well meaning it's supposed to be.
Preferential treatment is always problematic, yes. But ist more economic. I studied in Germany and they did take everyone. That was phantastic. But some subjects were restricted, numerus clausus. In case you wanted to study a restricted subject if you were not good enough you could wait a year and your score would get better.
