Glen is just too cute! Love him so much! Daryl giving the flower to Carol is SO sweet. ♥️ I think Shane cares about himself alone and only himself. Even in his “care” for Carl and Lori. He wants them for himself as shown when he tried to be with Lori when she didn’t want it (in the CDC building). If you truly care about someone you won’t do that sort of thing. I lost ALL respect for him when he did that. Finally, him saying “no matter how little value they have”. Chilling.

I feel your disappointment in the thoughtless way some construct their taglines and thumbnails - Disney+ for one! The journey's still worth it, though, as I have been along it many times and still find things I missed, and the quality is ALWAYS there to be enjoyed and admired. I hope you stay with it and continue with your very insightful critique - I'm enjoying it!
Shane didn't kill Otis to save Carl. If it was that selfless, he would have given the supplies to Otis and told him to go on ahead. Shane was the one that was injured and slowing them down. He killed Otis so that he could live.
Otis refused to leave Shane. Shane DID tell Otis to leave him behind. Not to say Shane is a good person by this point in the show but above all her wanted Carl to live at this point.
what i think about Shane killing Otis to get back to Carl: i dont think it was necessary, after he shot Otis they still had a lot of time to fight each other and i think they couldve used that time to get away in time

I agree, totally unnecessary. They both could've gotten away. They could still walk faster than the walkers, plus they kept wasting time by slowing down, turning around and shooting, not even aiming and wasting bullets, etc.
Across the street from the drugstore are two small fields. There was a festival years there ago that I attended. I walked right by that store. It's in Sharpsburg, GA.

I got a MAJOR scene of S2 spoiled when it originally was airing. Like... a MASSIVE scene. Probably the worst spoiler I've ever experienced. I was gutted and I'm not even a person who usually minds spoilers. But I was still invested when I watched it in context and it's still a scene I love. Surprises are nice but not everything x

god i know the feeling, while watching the show for the first time, i went to look up a picture of a character so i could show it to someone and then one of the results was " *character name* death" i was absolotely gutted and was so sad i knew this character would die, but luckily i managed to hide this info from my mom, cause iwas watching it with her, i found out this character was gonig to die multiple seasons before it happened

"Long enough to grow gills" is just a figure of speech. Also, take heart in the fact that as long as you don't know when that character is meant to die, the spoiler isn't that big of a deal. Because if you're watching a show about a zombie apocalypse with the expectation that each character will make it through all 11 seasons, that's just naive. If you keep that framing, it's not much of a spoiler at all. This show has a pretty high turnover rate.
It is hard not to get spoilers especially so many years after the show first aired. Even when this first aired people whether it was intentional or not people would spoil things. I never understood why someone would purposely spoil the show for new viewers. Sometimes the show itself spoiled episodes. Sometimes knowing someone would survive the episode was worse because the tension was gone. I always enjoy your reactions.

Just an idea, not really sure how that works but 🤷♂️ maybe it could help? I would like to know what you saw, maybe you could say if you put the warning with a "skip to (timestamp) to not hear it". In my opinion, Lori kept Shane hanging on a string. She wanted to be with Rick, but she also wanted Shane to stay close. Daryl telling Carol the story of the Cherokee Rose is so sweet. I think he could definitely become a leader in his own way. Maggie and Glenn are too cute together.
Yeah Lori has some super questionable decisions on her part. Daryl for me is the most leader fit if something were to happen to Shane and Rick. He just has a bit more development left, and he’s up there. In fact many could argue he already is just as ready as them.

I was in a discussion group during the original run of the show, and a lot of us thought the way all the female characters were written was annoying. With Lori especially, I always felt like there was a few scenes that were cut that would have made her actions make more sense.

It makes me so angry that everybody wants to turn on Shane for what he did and nobody will acknowledge that Shane told Otis to go on without him. Shane told Otis we will not make it go on without me. He tried but Otis was not willing to leave Shane behind, because he didn't have that care for Carl. But Shane did. Carl was more important than his life and he was willing to give his life for Carl.
