I love your theory about slowly introducing the “walker” infection into the human body, just like vaccines today. It honestly lowkey makes sense but unfortunately at this point in the twd world we don’t have any scientific proof or doctors able to do that. Dan, I know I’m a bit behind on your TWD reactions, but I did it on purpose! I started watching last summer, and I was so hooked on your thoughts and feelings about the show that I wanted more right away. A few things.... -You really wouldnt last 30 seconds in a ZA. You think Rick not going back for Andrea is him "turning into Shane?" You gotta stop being so soft man.... them going back would be idiotic. It isnt like she is going to still be there. They have no way of finding her, it was that simple. In this type of situation you have to think logically and strategically(and what exactly would they leave in a note for her??? They had no destination!). Shane was right about a lot of things, in terms of basic survival. You were objectively wrong and kind of foolish about going back for her. -It was absolutely Loris fault that Shane tried to murder Rick. Her apologizing to Shane gave him false hope. I remember you celebrating her doing it; do you really think giving mixed signals to someone who has fallen off the deep end and is obsessed with you is a smart idea? That said, her reason for reacting that way(as im sure youve been told) is because Carl had to put him down. -I knew you were going to get triggered by the "Ricktatorship" speech because...well, sorry to be so repetitive, but you are soft!!!! It was much needed and overdue. He did give them a choice; "my way or the highway" they chose his way. And by now you've seen he kept them alive. You say they were panicking and unable to think, but want them all to make decisions?! Cmon man.... Sorry for being a bit harsh, I have enjoyed your reactions and your genuine enthusiasm about one of my favorite shows. You should just maybe eat a bit more red meat, maybe watch a Chuck Norris movie marathon or something..(joking!)

I know you posted this a long time ago but I just started going on the rewatch with you. I watched this show as it aired, I stopped watching after this episode, it was just too hard. I was so upset. I didn’t finish the show until it was completely finished and decided it was time to watch it end. Aside from how awful it is though it is an extremely well done episode. The acting is incredible and Negan really has the best villain introduction ever. I cried again today and I can’t wait to see you react to the rest of the show

Being so upset about Rick deciding to make Carol go, but not as much about Carol Killing 2 isolated sick people without talking to the council is crazy. Also his name is Tyrese.

So, youre proud of Lori for inspiring Shane to murder Rick..... Nothing personal man, but youre just not very "street smart." (or naive if your prefer)Shane is clearly obsessed with her and giving him false hope(she is also 99% sure he is a murderer lets not forget) was the dumbest thing she could have possibly done. I got a good laugh when I saw you didnt even realize the whole plan was for Shane to kill him til they were there in the field. Very naive.... And about everyone started acting like Dale they would not last very long.....Dale was a good person, but he was unable to adapt

This was where I bailed on the show. It was never as well written as season one but when that Scott Gimple d-bag went on The Talking Dead and laughed about how upset the fans were by this episode… that was it for me. At this point sadly the writers (under Gimple) weren’t following character development and human stories etc anymore. They were just going for cheap shocks, slow reveals taunting the fans, and in your face gory deaths of beloved characters. That’s why all the characters we knew and loved started doing things that made no sense for their characters in season three. Worst episode imo. 😢

Im sure we will never go through a zombie apocalypse, but if we did...no offense but you are way too soft. Executing Randall was the right call. He was a threat...if he ever got out it would have been the end of them. Like Dale, your mind is not adapting to the fact that the old ways do not apply. I agree that letting Randall live is the morally correct thing to do, but morality would be a luxury in this situation. You are also totally misreading Rick(as Im sure you know by now) He would have never killed due to "peer pressure" from Shane. He did decide at the beginning of the episode that killing Randall was the right move. He obviously changed his mind later(needless to say if this was S3 or after he would never have even brought him back to the farm) Sorry, I know I am a bit late, but just discovered this channel recently.

Shane has always been my favorite character. I started watching around 2014 and this very episode had others and myself torn. I have watched many reactors of this show and this episode. You are the FIRST person ever to see, like me, the logic in what Shane did! I have had my a** reamed over the years for liking Shane and his actions - although barbaric-like at times, he did what needed to be done (as you will continue to see)!

Thats hilarious Did you not get how him knowing who Maggie was is a game changer(not for the better) It makes him an undeniable threat. Regarding people giving you grief about Shane, here is the thing: THD has A LOT of dumb fans. Like most dumb people, they always see everything in the binary; either or, black & white etc.....someone is good they like him, bad they dislike him. Someone being an antagonist, but a well written and acted one that we can root against, but still enjoy(and show empathy for) is something they are typically unable to grasp.

If Daryl were any other person, Ezekiel would have grounds to ask for time alone with Carol. But Daryl is Carols rock and their roots run deep. He's out of line in this scenario. I dont think Ezekiel sees Daryl as a threat in like... a relationship competition way, he sees that Carol is going to Daryl to heal instead of with him. So Ezekiel feels they're falling apart.

I kinda feel like Daryl is siding with and helping Maggie mostly out of guilt. He still feels responsible for Glenn’s death. There are so many complex emotions going on right now and I think everyone deserves time to work through them. Unfortunately in an apocalypse taking time to work through grief and guilt can have really terrible consequences.

Henry’s whole purpose of going to hilltop was to learn how to make stuff w/ earl (the blacksmith) to fix the pipes and now that Henry’s dead the pipes were never repaired and it ruined the kingdom as well as alphas massacre that had a bigger impact, Rip the kingdom 7x02- 9x16.
