I live across a little bay from where my town's fireworks thing happens and I find it a much nicer experience watching fireworks from a bit of a distance where it's not so loud.
I found one of those million dollar bills at a keyboard at my community college in New Jersey! It has a picture of Rutherford B. Hayes on it. Not sure why.

It was fun except there were over half a million people cramming the city, it rained heavily multiple times and food and drink were scarce. If there wasn't a subway opened on Canada Day my friend and I would've been fucked.
I spent Canada Day in LA going to a japanese music concert :) We also don't actually celebrate it in Quebec and instead serves as national move day since most leases begin and end on July 1st here.

As a man who hates poutine and pizza pops that is a sick sick move. What I hate gravy and I was never fond of fries. Also reminds me of one year back in high school where on Canada day me and some pals got together and just played Yu-Gi-Oh! till like 9 went to watch the fire works then went right back to playing an adult's children's card game. No god would be Mace Windu the cause of a lot of problems thinks he's mister always right.

Thing two: the majority of Magic players are from the US and the majority of people in the US are Christian. on top of that, the largest religion world wide (with ~ 2.2 billion followers) is Christianity; so the statement "nice to know that there are more Christians who play Magic" is odd, since a large percentage (if not the majority) of magic players would statistically be Christian.
