Both Gilbert siblings lost the love of their lives in this episode.
I felt like Anna was his best match but poor Jeremy had one of the most tragic love lives. He deserved better.
Oh and Elena with Stefan but this scene with her and damkn was heartbreaking. I think this was some of both actors best acting.
This has got to be one of the greatest scenes in TVD history in my opinion. There’s something really beautiful about seeing two characters who had a love/hate relationship for most of the show find comfort in one another’s presence right before they are about to die because of the simple fact that they only have each other in that moment. This was a very human moment to have in a show about supernatural beings. Also, both Bonnie and Damon went out in a way fitting for their characters. Bonnie comforting Damon by giving him her usual snark but taking his hand despite their differences and Damon comforting Bonnie by holding her hand and matching Bonnie’s snark in a jokey way to make her smile. You can’t go through something like this and come out on the other end without being best friends. It was lovely and quite a cliffhanger.
And you know they’re scared of the unknown they’re about to get sucked into but they’re so stoic, they stand there waiting for it and don’t try to fight it because they’ve accepted they can’t.

This was so hard from me to get over. Bonnie has been treated so horribly from the beginning. She died and no one knew. When Damon died with her, I thought she's not going to die alone. At least the show could do that for her. God, its making me tear up again
That’s what typically happens to colored characters on the CW. I only like the show because the cast always had Kat Grahams back. If it weren’t for that I would have said fuck this show a long time ago, because They completely threw away Bonnie’s character like she was nothing.

2:57 That moment Bonnie realized she was on the other side being destroyed and looked so helpless until Damon showed up. In a way I was so happy she wasn’t alone when it happened.. Then the ending just broke me. :’)

January 2019? 😭 This has to be one of the most heartbreaking scenes in history! Other than the actual ending of the whole of The Vampire Diaries! Amazing acting, amazing show. No show will ever come close. It's incredible, drawn me in so much, really touched my heart strings! It's amazing ❤

@@DeanLovesCas she would rival Katherine. She has this certain edge. I wish we saw more of that. It’s weird because I also liked Andi. She was normal in a circle of killers and I hate that she was killed. I forgive Stefan for that. Not for Enzo though. Bonnie deserved a happy ending while he got married a few days later. Ugh!
@P yes, I liked Andi too she was so innocent and lovely and couldn't help but liking Damon - I mean who could resist him? I was shocked about her death in the first ep of S3 but I think it was necessary for Delena to happen so I can live with that. But when Stefan killed Enzo I cursed him, so did Bonnie 😂 after all what's happened she would have deserved a happy end with Enzo. But maybe the revenge for him was that Stefan also died... It was obvious all the time that in the end one of them (Stefan and Enzo) would kill the other and so it was

Bonnie lost so much and sacrificed herself for her friends and always ended getting hurt in some way by their actions. She was the best person on the show and I wanted her to have her happy ended. When Enzo died I hated Stefan for a sec. his humanity was off but still!!

One of most emotional and heartbreaking scenes from any tv show. And it's so well made 😭 song also😭 will always make me cry
I'm glad Damon stayed in this scene because having Bonnie die after saving basically everyone would've been so cliche fucked up like they did this to her last season and almost every season before that. I'm glad in this moment she had someone with her so that she's not the only one who sacrificed everything to keep her loved ones safe because Damon did the same here.

although this is one of my favorite scenes because Boonie and Damon bond, i appreciate the small moment when Elena looks at Alaric when Jermey calls for Bonnie. The moment is brief but Nina portrays that wtf moment so well, I like truth about it.

This season finale obviously went both ways good and bad
Good part Stefan Enzo and Alaric all coming back to life
Bad part Damon and Bonnie obviously dying so sad we were not okay with that I thought we’d never see them again but we did
I also wasn’t impressed with Lexi finding peace that was sad too we would’ve loved to see her come back to life also but they screwed that up

if you think about it, Bonnie's grandma only made a deal to save Bonnie and send her to the prison world. She didn't know Bonnie would be sending her friends through back to life. If she and damon hadn't been physically touching, damon would have most likely been swept away by whatever was taking everyone out. But since they were holding hands, they were connected and he got sent to the prison world with her. Them holding hands is the reason he's alive, honestly.

Edit: The only thing that's stopping me from crying out loud is me knowing that there is like 3 more seasons and that Damon comes back. Idk about Bonnie though 😢 Watching this when it aired...jeez...I feel for those people and having to wait for a whole year for a continuation.

Jeremy had so much trafedy when it came to girlfriends. I think next to Stefan i feel the most bad for him.
The thing good about this is Domen and Bonnie became best friends in purgatory, but they shouldn't have to gone to purgatory in the first place . Bonnie should have stayed with Jeremy and Domen should have stayed with Elena or if Bonnie and Domen was going to purgatory together the writers could have made Bonnie and Domen into a couple like in the book vampire diaries . In the book vampire diaries Domen and Bonnie is a couple for a while .
I love the fact that he got stuck in the prison world because he wanted to save Liz.
