in this series of videos I will show you the building of the new Homemade Positive pipe Organ.
In this video No 14 I build the first open pipes
This organ will be one of a kind, in fact it will be portable but with 2 manuals of 3 octaves.
it will also have 2 registers and an effective extension of 4 octaves (from 120Hz the lowest pipe, to 2000Hz the highest pipe)
In addition there will be the possibility of using a manual or electrified bellows.
When using any kind of tools and machinery, I strongly recommend you always have to refer precisely to the manufacturer's guidelines & safety manual.

These videos are great, I dream of making my own pipe organ one day. Do you do woodworking professionally or how did you get into it?

Thanks Phil, I do it out of passion, in the sense that it's not my main job. but in my previous job I worked wood to make loudspeakers for Hi-fi cars and for the home.

Hello, thank you for sharing this interesting building process of yours. Could you please explain the design of the pipes; the different options you have in choosing the angle and shape of the internal block, and the angle of the upper lip (with or without beard?) and the lower cap, which you speak of? How do these different options affect the sound of the pipe? What other things affect the sound?

Thanks Kenneth, you make me a lot of interesting questons, a bit too long to answer here. I'll do a dedicated video, maybe the next.
