in this series of videos I will show you the building of the new Homemade Positive Organ.
In this video No 15 I the glue bath
This organ will be one of a kind, in fact it will be portable but with 2 manuals of 3 octaves.
it will also have 2 registers and an effective extension of 4 octaves (from 120Hz the lowest pipe, to 2000Hz the highest pipe)
In addition there will be the possibility of using a manual or electrified bellows.
When using any kind of tools and machinery, I strongly recommend you always have to refer precisely to the manufacturer's guidelines & safety manual.

    Happy Holidays everyone!
As far as the construction of the organ is concerned, this is the most critical moment, there are some steps to do, such as this of the glue, I still have to define the measurements of the closed pipes well, and other things that make it seem that the project is not going ahead . You have to have perseverance and go on and in the end the organ will play.

    Like'd, of course.
I am sure that there are better, faster options to fill the gaps with glue, but doing it slow and 1 by 1 is therapeutic - nice job well done!
Peace - to your wife, too, even if you mess with glue in her kitchen ;-)
    Merry Christmas, Signore!

I must confess... after the first half I went for a faster method:)
I'm still alive, it means that my wife was satisfied with the work
      Thanks and merry Christmas!

Nice 👍. In my Instrument, i did that during construction of the channels by brushing the glue on before glueing on the top panel. But regardless how you do it: As you told, it's important to have it air tight. I tested after drying by placing a tiny pipe on each hole and gave air pressure to the neighbor channels to check for leaks. Fortunately, there weren't any 😀

Nice video, how long should the glue be kept in the channels?

just long enough to fill some channels, then it must be drained

Do you mean to diluted the glue with water? Can this method be used to coat the inner surface of a organ pipe?
