Poplar key levers!! And that's just the beginning!! Your work is immaculate, and as far as I can tell from the slides, your building techniques are CRAZY- with awesome results. I've been an organ builder for more than 20 years, and been privileged to be involved in some pretty amazing organs. My hat's off to you! Keep up the good work!

I write my comment very late but as an engineer, and a passionnate of audio/sound/DIY,woodworking for years, make a pipe organ interest me. And maybe creating some "excentric" pipe ranks, I really want to know if it is possible to harmonize pretty well some materials like PVC or polycarbonate... The french musician Nicolas Bras achieve to make a large amount of wind instrument in PVC, they sound surprisingly good !

As a solely wood pipe instrument this one is voiced beautifully with the lovely lively yet mellow notes coming from the wood pipes.
I am waiting now to see if he does something with brass and copper for metal
Pipes it surely would complete this imstrument.
The songs chosen and played also highlighted the strengths of this instrument.

Metal pipe-making is a skill beyond the patient and exacting woodworking skill brought to bear in the making and building of this sweet little instrument.

Keep in mind there is a huge difference between building a little organ like this and building an organ for a good sized church. 60, 870 100 or more stops is far more than one man can do regardless of his skill. Being a hobbiest with a lovely little project like this is one thing, but having the space, facilities and crew to build a real concert organ or for a large church - that is a whole other story. This is a nice project, well done. Lots of time and patience represented in this completed instrument.

As I viewed the video, I was so very impressed with every single detail put into this organ. I cannot imagine how many hours went into the initial planning stages, nor can I imagine anyone having the expertise, incredible skill, and devotion to spend countless hours in the construction of even the smallest but most essential details. I dare say the workmanship surpasses that of the finest organ builders in the world. It is obvious the end result is his utterly amazing organ is something of which he can play and enjoy the rest of his days. No matter how grand an instrument any organist owns, his heart's desire is to own his own personal pipe organ and this is the awesome example of what we wish were ours. Enjoy! You have most certainly earned the right.. It at any time the house next door to you comes up for sale, please let me know! I would love to become your guest on a daily basis!
