I love the ghostbusters series, but I hated/disliked the 2016 movie. The reason I hates was not because they were all women, but because it felt like they were trying to be funny and that just does not work for me. I think it would have done better if they mixed the members like they did with the new releases, which i find the new generation ones pretty good. Still love the original movie the most. It makes no difference to me I don't have Disney+ . As for the character Agatha, who is she? I've read lots of Marvel comics but I've never heard of this character?
This show is Love and Thunder 2.0. Marvel made a rookie mistake. They took a character who stood out in a certain project and made them the main star. Agatha is on par with Korg. She’s overstayed her welcome.
I wonder if the “Marvel Television” imprint is the MCU’s way of distancing itself from any of the events of the movies? Doing an “Elseworlds” without admitting it is. The last time the movies and tv tied together was Deadpool & Wolverine. A movie nether Iger or Fiege wanted and only happened during Chapek’s chairmanship and he was rewarded by being fired. I get the feeling this show, Ironheart, and Daredevil will be memory holed if not by the studio, then definitely the audience.

I don't care if it's good, I'm not watching it.
And besides. Nearly every Disney+ show starts good. They have actual writers and directors (if you want to call them that, this cast has only done Wandavision and Black Widow). But they hire bigger talents to start the show and then end the show. The entire middle part of the season is useoess filler garbage, written by DEI activists with literally 0 writing credits.
Look it up. It's the same formula they use on every show. Guarantee this show falls off the rails in the next few episodes.
When a Show starts, people can have their head canon to fix smaller plot holes. But, as longer a show goes, the possibility of "fixing" by head canon get smaller and smaller.
Disney needs to really rang in these actors when there with the media cause the interviews that they've done will turn people off not cause there bigots but cause people will think this show is trying to preach at them. I won't watch it cause I don't care I didn't care about Wanda Vision and this show is in my opinion 3 years late to that roaring success.
Marvel: So. What did we learn from Deadpool and Wolverine?
Staff: Nothing!!!
Marvel: Excellent!
I love the ghostbusters series, but I hated/disliked the 2016 movie.
The reason I hates was not because they were all women, but because it felt like they were trying to be funny and that just does not work for me.
The movie just felt to forced, and just did not have the charm of the series before it.
I think it would have done better if they mixed the members like they did with the new releases, which i find the new generation ones pretty good.
Still love the original movie the most.
RIP Harold Ramis, you are missed.
1 peoblem I have is Wanda d8d not have chikdren. Let's remember Vision was not an actual man, so how exactly could she have kids with him?
I will never forgive Disney for what they have done to Star Wars and how they have let the employees express how much they hold me in disdain. No amount of "course correcting" is genuine without an actual apology, and we all know that is never happening.
It was not made for me so they can eat my bass as i tuch grass.
Disney needs to stop being damn inconsistent give good quality content instead you one or two. It will take 4 years to trust Disney again. Sick of them attacking fans and how inconsistent.
Technically he should be a warlock not a witch
"It doesn't suck." The Geeky Sparkle seal of approval!😂😂
It makes no difference to me I don't have Disney+ .
As for the character Agatha, who is she? I've read lots of Marvel comics but I've never heard of this character?
I was into the two episodes, were barely into the story but I didn’t hate it so far.
It was what a month ago for the saga of lesbian space witches, now marvel pushes out super gay witches.
I noticed it has mixed reviews. My sister watched it and actually liked it. So I'll probably watch it for myself.
This show is Love and Thunder 2.0. Marvel made a rookie mistake. They took a character who stood out in a certain project and made them the main star. Agatha is on par with Korg. She’s overstayed her welcome.
But isnt Wiccan gay in the comics? He married Hulking?
Yep
It’s AGAyTHAng ALL ALONG
"A new Marvel show!"
"How bad is it?"
"Wait? What? That's not how..."
"HOW. BAD."
"Well, yeah, pretty bad..."
I think this could’ve been interesting, but instead I think it should’ve been like a 2 part episode in wandavision
From what I have been hearing is in English subtitles it calls him Teen, but every other language calls him Billy.
How to make money:
Stop making projects for just yourself.
Friz Freleng once said that he made the Looney Tunes' shorts for themselves, (Not strictly for children) but they were still made for 'the general audience'.
@@Launchpad05 yep.
Modern content seems to be made for board room members only.
@@AncestorEmpire1 'Now the chart CLEARLY says that...' #NostalgiaCritic
@@Launchpad05 yep.
do you watch 'Greg Owens'?
MCU can’t even get a Blade movie out but here comes an Agatha show
It’d clear where their priorities lie
Making money.
😂😂😂😂😂😂

D&W shows that giving fans what they want gets them money
This Agatha show shows they care more about identity politics than making money
Everything I have heard about the Blade movie says we should be glad it never got made.

Them not making it the right way further shows where their priorities lie
1. A comic book show not for comic book fans.
2. DEI characters.
3. Toxic marketing strategy.
4. Indie reviewers like Critical Drinker say it's bad.
That's 4 *hard* strikes against this show. It's going to bomb and it deserves to (and frankly #1 is all it should take).
On rotten Tomatoes there was a lot of 5 stars viewers scores days before the show even aired so either the show got leaked or fake scores got put on a site that's got caught fudging scores and changing rules for Disney before (Captain Marvel).
His character in the comics is gay. It was a clue to who he actually is. That being said, if the first thing you use to describe yourself is your sexuality, then you have a lot of soul searching to do
I don't care if it's even meh in quality. Disney isn't going to learn till it hurts them in the wallet. That won't happen if we keep giving them money.
I actually view this as a net positive because there for a while Amandla thought that she was going to be the Christ on the cross and start a new woke religion against everybody that she lumped into her little tirade. This proves that the news media wants and has control over their own agenda, leaving the Acolyte in the dust.😂😂😂
It's at 78% and 79%
And the Bob Iger Company did it again...
The penguin 🐧 comes out tonight
FFS. We've only seen two episodes so far. And they were good episodes. I know some men (and some women) have an issue with female lead programs, especially if that show is perceived to be woke (whatever that means). I'm a straight male, in my 50s, who enjoys a good story. That's all i want, a good story with good characters. Fellow men, you too can enjoy a good story, with gay characters and your masculinity will remain intact.
As a straight man, I agree. I too enjoy the show so far.
When they interviewed the director and she didn’t read the comics, or watch any marvel movies, or take in any superhero media I knew this was DOA 😂
