I feel the younger people on these news outlets have no clue how to use social media and seem to be clueless how they work for everyone-left and right! They act like podcasts are a new thing. They seem to be very out of touch with ordinary people and technology. They have a lot of catching up to do!
What’s funny is I made Bluesky account but haven’t posted any of my art, and yet feels so empty and hardly ever go in there. The Penguin was a good example of addressing issues such as men taking advantage of women and holding them down and the woman getting back at those men and taking what was owed her without getting preachy about it. So it IS possible to do, they've just been choosing not to.
In fact I came to like her and sympathized with her. I felt bad for her for what was done to her and even rooted for her to get her revenge. Gee, who'd have thought you can actually make an oppressed character be sympathetic to the audience and not be obnoxious?
I was trying not to give up on Moon girl and Devil dinosaur. I was weirded out by the school dance eps where they had the kids kissing. (Gay and straight characters.) I'm glad they drop that eps.
... Did you ever see a school dance? I'm sorry. But they massively downplayed. Kissing is on the acceptable side, compared to other things that are guaranteed to happen on those.
