    I paid $299 For a Countyline carb, only for it the not run at all. wound up using the new throttle plates and jets on the old carb and now it runs like a top

      Thats wierd! Replacement carbs are so hit and miss on these

    I have one of these Ford tractors and the biggest problem I have is those stupid coils that is mounted on the distributor on the front of the engine. They just never last and it is a pain to work on it. It has been sitting 10 years now,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

      Dang dude get it goin! I will say if u need a coil, DB electric makes one i use in all of my tractors and never had a problem. There is a link to it in the video description if you're interested.

      @@LeatherHeadGarage Well that is good to know. I was thinking of using part of the coil that is bad and then installing a newer coil on the outside of the tractor. I have replaced the old coil at least 3 times and they just never lasted very long. Last time I had it running it ran fine. My dad bought it off of a military ship that pulled airplanes around and that was back in the 1950's,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
