You can crop, rotate, and edit highlights, color grading, contrast, WB, and other things.
If you just want a basic editing app, then just go with your stock photo editing app.
Snapseed wasn’t made by Google, it was bought by them.
When you import raw images in lightroom it will close those 90% of features 😢
I use both! (Usually I first adjust the RAWs in lightroom and than make the other things in Snapseed)

How do download snapseed? I can’t find it on the app store!
I use *RAW Power* on my iPhone and I’m very happy with it. They also have tutorial videos on TH-cam. It’s the only app I use to edit my RAW files.
Yes, I do it too, but recently I realized that to edit the CRW format I need the premium version... 🥲
@@reden_fx There is no premium or free version. You just pay one time to download and own the app. This is the case for iOS. Is there a free version for Mac? What device were you using?
@@Ebu26 On Android there's the free version where you can do almost anything, then there's the premium version with some functionalities in addition to the free one.

I still use snapseed, but i would say, never use 3rd party software when it comes to cameras cus it can be grainy and only the actual phone company knows how to make a good photo/video editing app.

What about darktable? I've used that many times in the past. Although that's not a mobile app of course.

that i easy can at it my RAW photos of my phone But if i try to Edith the photos of my Nikon It wants me to unlock the pro Version
It happened also to me unfortunately, but I tryed Photoshop Express on my PC and it works, even if there are not quite all Lightroom's features...

I edited raw images using snapseed. Its still good imo.

Snapseed isn't that good and sometimes i feel like it makes the image quality worse
But you can't edit raw photos for free in lightroom

Snapseed has not been working very well with the newest IOS updates. It crashes especially when zooming or masking. I used it when I started photography, but now I have the full version of lightroom. Also one of the downsides of snapseed is that there’s no RAW editing on ios

It's not designed for that. What it is designed for it does much better than photoshop. Complaining that Lightroom doesn't do what photoshop does is like complaining that a monkey doesn't swim like a fish

@@grantwalter2243 no shade,but serious question: Have you ever worked in a production house where you had to process photos on a large scale? I am a long time photoshop user and used to think lightroom was pointless if you had photoshop. I owned lightroom and didn't use it for years. Then I started getting clients on a corporate level that needed thousands of photographs turned around quickly. Not happening with Photoshop. Photoshop is an image manipulation app that CAN process photos, but Lightroom is designed from ground up to be center of photograph editing workflow. The ability to apply settings to thousands of images at once and catalog properly is priceless compared to photoshop. You will find very few, if any photograph processing professionals who have large clients who would think of doing such work in photoshop. Photoshop DOES do much more , but much of what it does is useless for straight up photography. Even for photographers who need to do photo compositing,Photoshop has the disadvantage of being clunky with RAW files in comparison , further slowing down workflow.
Lightroom was meant to be specialized tool and does all of those things better than Photoshop. If I was working as a single man operation and photography was not main business, photoshop is a wiser choice, if you had to choose one, but for the pro photographer or production house you probably have both, but if you are doing thousands of photos, Lightroom is an easy choice.
