The reason Enel was so weak is that he never had any reason to be strong. He never left the sky islands, and had his priests and warriors do all the work for him. Enel had never faced any formidable threats, so he had never had a reason to be strong. He had never needed to discover new tactics or become stronger.
If Enel's fruit was actually in hands of someone who you know, actually trained and used more than just basically strategy, they could very easily become the strongest character in the series

Also, take to note that besides Luffy, no one is resistant to being electrocuted. So hitting anyone with that fruit is an issue and on of it self. Haki can't protect you from that. Basically anything outside of rubber is a conductor so yeah, a very very very hard time fighting that.

Number 1 only explains the use of the power in a fight. Enel can control electricity. He can use it to control the electric flows in a body for both heal and hurt. He can use it to power mechanical devices like a flying ship and robots. The fruit can be the most destructive and beneficial power of any society
If it is about how viable it is the why don't use something like Wapol devil fruit that allow it's user to eat anything and create a new metal substance, which the only drawback might be that you just need to eat that one fruit that you don't like in order to create the metal that could save the world
I love the concept that the strength of the devils fruit abilities is dependant on how creative and strong the user is. Luffy's rubber power could easily be a shitty filler characters ability, and Doflamingos definitely could! I can totally imagine some old lady in a filler arc with the devils fruit power to create string, and all she does is repair clothes and knit. Yet this guy repairs his internal organs with it, creates clones, flies by swinging from clouds and could destroy an entire island with an indestructible bird cage! I think that's my favourite part of the one piece world: its not what you're given, but what you make of it. In all honesty I don't really care whether its canon that the devils fruit is only as strong as the user, because I just enjoy the story more when I believe it. Also - wouldn't Kizaru's light fruit be more powerful than Enel's? Surely he could potentially have the power to move at light speed and blind or burn people? Honestly the gum gum powers are underrated. It's literally the only fruit that has a natural and perfect counter to the world's most powerful fruit. You can't be killed by guns. You take less physical damage over all. Yeah I would give Luffy credit for using his creativity to come up with more ways to use it in combat but there's probably way more uses of that power that Luffy has never even tried or thought off.

Law's fruit is insane, but there are other insane fruits without its drawbacks. You can't use the OP OP fruit for long without being exhausted, and it's short range. You need to be in a room, and even then the fighter can resist you like DoFla did.

I would say the otherway around enel's fuit can be intangible and could travel at the speed of light just like kizaru but it's destructive power is just too much compared to kizaru's lazer beam, but well who knows we haven't seen kizarus full potential.
Laurenz Ternida he can travel at lightning speed not light. He’s 1/3 the speed kizaru has but it doesn’t seem he has a charge time and kizaru does if he wants to go that fast.
I think an often over looked fruit is the sand-sand fruit, its a 1 hit ko if you touch someone, it makes you invincible to everything except water and seastone, you can create controllable sand storms, and can fly with it or atleast hover, i think it deserved at least an honourable mention tbh
No it can easily be countered with any fluid like in Alabasta where Luffy can use water and his bloos to disarm Croc. It wouldn't even take someone like Jimbei who can manipulate water to take down a person with that ability.
Luffy literally is so smart and is so creative with his silly devil fruit ability like for example using his body as a pump to accelerate his blood speed or smthing to go gear 2 ( I'm on episode 364 so I dont know the names of the other transformation except for gear fourth's) . But then you have times where luffy literally gets fooled by Ussop's sogeking disguise.
While I don't think it's as good as the Top 5 here, I also think that Perona's Horo Horo no Mi is a very underrated fruit itself and worthy of an honorable mention. The ability to sap anybody's willpower could be quite a dangerous tool. And since even Luffy and Zoro were affected by it, it seems like even a powerful spirit doesn't mean much; it'll be hollowed out all the same.

There's also one more advantage of the Goro Goro no Mi, and it has to with Akainu's Devil Fruit, the Magu Magu no Mi. The temperature of most magma goes up to 2400 °F and the Sun's surface temperature is 10,340°F. But the scary thing is that just a BOLT OF LIGHTNING eclipses both of those temperatures, having a temperature of 53,540°F. So if Enel only uses a bolt of lightning he could outright KILL Akainu! Enel NEEDS to come back! Being able to kill the user of the Magu Magu no Mi without Haki is OP as fuck!
I think lighting might work a bit differently in OP, because if you go by the voltage of Enel's attacks, then everyone, including Luffy, should be burnt to ashes. With that said, I still want Enel to come back!

I think that armament haki sort of nullifies logia powers somewhat. It makes you able to hit logia users, so it may cancel out the effects of whatever element is being used all together.

You failed to mention one thing about Goro Goro no Mi, the fact that he can control how much and how little of electricity he wants to use, by that standard, he could help try and revive a person by trying to shock them back to life like a paramedic would with a defibrillator. There is also the other fact, if he wanted to, he could concentrate on a constant flow of electricity long and hard enough that it could be used to burn holes in people or cut people.
Common Sense no, a defibrilator just gives you one shock. Which means your heart beats once. But the problem of a stopped heart lies with your brain. So it doesnt do shit to revive you. You need to have someone beating on your heart and breathing into you if you have a stopped heart.
I think alot of ppl forget about magellan and his poison type DF. I mean that was insanely powerful and had a really cool design. I mean he's one of the few advaseries Luffy has never actually beat, I really want to see what they do with him now since its been a while since we saw him.
Honestly probably nothing. He was the Warden of Impel Down and he's likely to stay that way. What I mean is he can't leave Impel down as he is the main human force which can and will most likely stop any escapee or intruder.
@Cistaicy 4 Not really, its shown that Magellen's poison is extremely potent and hard to be resistant to or even survive. Even after Luffy gained the high resistance to poison(only because of someone else' devil fruit and the extremely high chance that he would die, AND even if surviving shortening the survivor's life as a result) he was still getting cocked by the poison. Let's not forget that he can make different types of poison and not just one singular type. Could be a gaseous poison or even a corrosive one, but these aren't its limits either. Its only downside is the diarrhea it gives the user as well as the regular sea water weakness of any DF user. That devil fruit imo is pretty lethal, I think it deserved an honorable mention in the video.
The main problem with this whole statement is that you said Luffy has never actually beat him. The Luffy back then was considerably weak compared to now. It's like saying Buggy at the beginning of the series vs Sengoku as the Fleet Admiral, or any of the Admirals in fact. Luffy in that arc heavily relied on plot armor and had nothing else going for him basically. He had no haki, no nothing, except for his fruit and his instincts. If he uses armament haki against magellan, then he'll probably win, since armament haki allows one to hurt logia type users (Ik Megallans df is paramecia), increases dmg, and increases defense.
And the biggest reason why this fruit isn't on the list is the insane amount of bathroom time needed because of the fruit. No one wants to be on the toilet for 18 hours a day.
If feel like there’s gonna be at time (most likely towards the end of the series) where Luffy becomes really ill or has a really fatal wound that can take his life that even chopper can’t heal and law turns Luffy immortal but at the cost of his own life (or something like that)

Rubber doesn't do anything against gravity. Rubber only counters electricity. Haki overpowers Fujitora's devil fruit. His fruit is useful for suppressing weaklings but someone at his level or stronger will resist the fruit's effects making it much less impressive.

Realistically the Pika Pika No Mi is amazing. Being made out of light is so OP almost solely based on the ability to travel at the speed of light, as Borsolano says in the series, velocity is weight. So getting hit at the speed of light is extremely powerful. You can also focus the light to a point of making fucking lasers.
As long as he preserves his bone, he's immortal. If Brook isn't a pirate and just live peacefully, he could live a hundred or thousands of years. You won't even need Law's technique to be immortal.

All zoans make the user stronger no matter what it is. Chopper doesn’t turn into a regular human he turns into this huge body builder type human with super human strength. If we are looking at the effect on the average person human zoan is not useless.
I would love to see Bartolomeo get stronger with his bari bari no mi (barrier fruit). The power to create an invincible barrier is amazingly strong. You could create a full seal barrier armour and only take breaths when you need to and since his barriers are made from thin air he could possibly mimic and create the long reach Luffy has with his gomu gomu no mi. Possibly the best use I could think of this fruit is encase your enemies in the barrier and suffocate them or if you wanted to kill them quicker, put a barrier in their throat to stop them from breathing. You could also make the barriers thin like string to possibly do what doflamingo could but with an unbreakable string (yes I know there is a limit to the amount of barrier but if it was in string form he could make lots of it). And if his fruit was awakened he could make everything around him barrier, that would be pretty strong. Drawbacks have to be that the user needs to cross their fingers to make a barrier and control it. If it didn’t conduct electricity, and could conduct haiki, float on water and do everything mentioned above I think this would be the best devil fruit even though it doesn’t have world ending capabilities.

Lightning has a lot of collateral damage too. Anyone standing on the ground, in water or on metal anywhere near the lightning strike would die. It would also completely fuck up any electronics close to the blast.

- The speed of light is significantly slower in the one piece word.
- Every top tier character such as right hand of the pirate king matches some speed that if combined with haki can easily block kizaru
- Kizaru never used full speed (There is a theory that he actually is not a bad guy) or some other reason
- He needs to channel the energy of light but it is weird that way he instantly shot the giant tree down but took like an hour to attack zoro.
Too bad Kizarus fruit is in One Piece, not the real world so it doesn't matter.

I love the concept that the strength of the devils fruit abilities is dependant on how creative and strong the user is. Luffy's rubber power could easily be a shitty filler characters ability, and Doflamingos definitely could! I can totally imagine some old lady in a filler arc with the devils fruit power to create string, and all she does is repair clothes and knit. Yet this guy repairs his internal organs with it, creates clones, flies by swinging from clouds and could destroy an entire island with an indestructible bird cage! I think that's my favourite part of the one piece world: its not what you're given, but what you make of it. In all honesty I don't really care whether its canon that the devils fruit is only as strong as the user, because I just enjoy the story more when I believe it.
Also - wouldn't Kizaru's light fruit be more powerful than Enel's? Surely he could potentially have the power to move at light speed and blind or burn people? How would you fight someone who can move at light speed and attack from a range?

I think an often over looked fruit is the sand-sand fruit, its a 1 hit ko if you touch someone, it makes you invincible to everything except water and seastone, you can create controllable sand storms, and can fly with it or atleast hover, i think it deserved at least an honourable mention tbh
No it can easily be countered with any fluid like in Alabasta where Luffy can use water and his bloos to disarm Croc. It wouldn't even take someone like Jimbei who can manipulate water to take down a person with that ability.
Luffy literally is so smart and is so creative with his silly devil fruit ability like for example using his body as a pump to accelerate his blood speed or smthing to go gear 2 ( I'm on episode 364 so I dont know the names of the other transformation except for gear fourth's) . But then you have times where luffy literally gets fooled by Ussop's sogeking disguise.

But the scary thing is that just a BOLT OF LIGHTNING eclipses both of those temperatures, having a temperature of 53,540°F. So if Enel only uses a bolt of lightning he could outright KILL Akainu! Enel NEEDS to come back! Being able to kill the user of the Magu Magu no Mi without Haki is OP as fuck!
I think lighting might work a bit differently in OP, because if you go by the voltage of Enel's attacks, then everyone, including Luffy, should be burnt to ashes. With that said, I still want Enel to come back!

You failed to mention one thing about Goro Goro no Mi, the fact that he can control how much and how little of electricity he wants to use, by that standard, he could help try and revive a person by trying to shock them back to life like a paramedic would with a defibrillator. There is also the other fact, if he wanted to, he could concentrate on a constant flow of electricity long and hard enough that it could be used to burn holes in people or cut people.

I think alot of ppl forget about magellan and his poison type DF. I mean that was insanely powerful and had a really cool design. I mean he's one of the few advaseries Luffy has never actually beat, I really want to see what they do with him now since its been a while since we saw him.

Even after Luffy gained the high resistance to poison(only because of someone else' devil fruit and the extremely high chance that he would die, AND even if surviving shortening the survivor's life as a result) he was still getting cocked by the poison. Let's not forget that he can make different types of poison and not just one singular type. Could be a gaseous poison or even a corrosive one, but these aren't its limits either. Its only downside is the diarrhea it gives the user as well as the regular sea water weakness of any DF user. That devil fruit imo is pretty lethal, I think it deserved an honorable mention in the video.
The main problem with this whole statement is that you said Luffy has never actually beat him. The Luffy back then was considerably weak compared to now. It's like saying Buggy at the beginning of the series vs Sengoku as the Fleet Admiral, or any of the Admirals in fact. Luffy in that arc heavily relied on plot armor and had nothing else going for him basically. He had no haki, no nothing, except for his fruit and his instincts. If he uses armament haki against magellan, then he'll probably win, since armament haki allows one to hurt logia type users (Ik Megallans df is paramecia), increases dmg, and increases defense.
And the biggest reason why this fruit isn't on the list is the insane amount of bathroom time needed because of the fruit. No one wants to be on the toilet for 18 hours a day.

Rubber doesn't do anything against gravity. Rubber only counters electricity. Haki overpowers Fujitora's devil fruit. His fruit is useful for suppressing weaklings but someone at his level or stronger will resist the fruit's effects making it much less impressive.

Pika pika no mi is definitely better. It’s literally a stronger, faster version of the goru goru no mi
Realistically the Pika Pika No Mi is amazing. Being made out of light is so OP almost solely based on the ability to travel at the speed of light, as Borsolano says in the series, velocity is weight. So getting hit at the speed of light is extremely powerful. You can also focus the light to a point of making fucking lasers.

All zoans make the user stronger no matter what it is. Chopper doesn’t turn into a regular human he turns into this huge body builder type human with super human strength. If we are looking at the effect on the average person human zoan is not useless.

I like enel as a character just because of his devil's fruit
I would love to see Bartolomeo get stronger with his bari bari no mi (barrier fruit). The power to create an invincible barrier is amazingly strong.
You could create a full seal barrier armour and only take breaths when you need to and since his barriers are made from thin air he could possibly mimic and create the long reach Luffy has with his gomu gomu no mi. Possibly the best use I could think of this fruit is encase your enemies in the barrier and suffocate them or if you wanted to kill them quicker, put a barrier in their throat to stop them from breathing. You could also make the barriers thin like string to possibly do what doflamingo could but with an unbreakable string (yes I know there is a limit to the amount of barrier but if it was in string form he could make lots of it).
And if his fruit was awakened he could make everything around him barrier, that would be pretty strong.
Drawbacks have to be that the user needs to cross their fingers to make a barrier and control it.
If it didn’t conduct electricity, and could conduct haiki, float on water and do everything mentioned above I think this would be the best devil fruit even though it doesn’t have world ending capabilities.
Certainly a strong and fun fruit! Haki might be a counter though, but shouldnt Bartolomeo be able to mix it with armament haki? Imagine his barrier go full black 😍

Noor HakimVEVO he only has the ability to stabilize it not repair his heart. His strings won’t fully repair it and he has to be alive and in control to actually use the strings, so he likely can’t bring himself back from death
