This game was, and still good, still have my old PS3 ,bought a ps1 copy , 24 years later is still good , i don't want to blame the remake ,is " beautiful " but i don't have the same sensations, you can feel the nemesis threat everywhere , despite the 1999 ps1 graphics Era , there's an atmospher ,music,sound design ,i don't know,. a bit of nostalgia too, this game is great 👍.Tks for the vidéo

The safe room soundtracks gets me all the time. It brings so many beautiful memories. The feeling that you re safe just for that moment but you get scared just thinking that you re going to have to leave that room and face the unknown
This was a great game and I had to thank one of my sisters for buying RE3 for me because she knew how much I loved playing RE1 & RE2. One of my memories of this game was solving that water level puzzle
I remember being at a friend's house when I was 16 it was 11:00 at night and we could not figure that puzzle out for the life of us. We handed the control over to his little brother and he figured it out in 5 minutes 😂😂😂😂
When we played this original RE3 on PS1/psone...the graphic was so much better@nice on television than when we watching on TH-cam..never looks same..so far.......sweet childhood memory 😢😊❤

Cut a few bits out? They completely missed the mark about what made the original so good. Here’s 5 things the original did better, just off the top of my head: 1. Exciting intro that told the audience what we were in for 2. They built up to Nemesis rather than him bursting in during the opening scene 🙄 3. Atmospheric storytelling with music, ambience, and a cinematic camera style 4. The setting actually looks like 1998, as it’s supposed to 5. More enemy variety, often randomised in some locations. The 1999 version was designed to be replayable because back then they weren’t able to hypnotise and distract people with flashy cutscenes containing cynical woke talking points

true. This holds so much memories from my childhood, I can't think of playing this like some other bs 1st / 3rd person shooter games, this is best played the way it is in the original version, that way of gameplay builds up the tension so well, it just used to scare the ef outta me 😅
This was my favorite Resident Evil game for the PS1. It may have been a little short, but I love how it gave you the opportunity to explore more of Raccoon City and witness all the death and destruction caused by the T-Virus outbreak. Plus, it introduced the most terrifying antagonist in the series.

I just realized that last piece of audio when Dario says “just get away from me” is only on the PS1 version of the game. The GameCube, Dreamcast, and now the GOG version is missing that audio. Not a big deal, but interesting.
Off the back of a lorry perhaps. I had to pay at least £40 ($50.50) back in those days for a new game, even the bad ones. RE2 went for £50 ($63.12) in 1998
Somebody needs to remake this just the way it was. Not the crap we got. If they wanted to add to it thats fine, but everything else should have stayed like it was kind of like the resident evil 1 remake. Oh and nemesis was a huge disappointment in the remake. They turned him into a ridiculous 4 legged creature. Waited so long as a re3 fan and that is what we got. Its time for independent game makers.

There’s a lot more enjoyment to be had than just gawking at shiny objects on-screen though. This game was so replayable, atmospheric, well structured, and well balanced
