Thank you for sharing this. I send a portfolio to displate about a month ago and they have not even had the courtesy to acknowledge or even tell me my designs are as welcome as a dose of the clap. I am not impressed with customer relations of that quality. I shall be looking into this.
@@RitterFlohI think this may be because it's easier to keep up with fraud as well. It's extremely easy for people to fake a profile and steal the art of other artists. But something that is licensed is much easier to vet. So, I don't blame them for pulling back on spotlighting regular artists. It's an issue that has made me reconsider some pieces from a small artist I was looking to get some stuff from but I can't find anything else about them off of Displate, and so I'm worried I may be purchasing from a fraud.
😍 Thanks for the review of Thisnew! Heya Zen, your channel ready to pop 15k, nice work! How far are you gonna drive it? Should pick up speed as you go right? 🚀🚀
Ha ha I am happy to keep plugging away, to be honest the size of the channel doesn't really matter, I am very happy to help people and hopefully provide some value! Thank you for the feedback!
@@zenwatercooler Well, you're definitely doing that already (helping people and providing value)....sounds like your in love with the process and not the results.....which I've heard is a very healthy way of accomplishing great things 😍😍 👏👏
I used artscow in the past and it was far from the quality of what you get on displate. I would love to see a 1 to 1 comparison between this and displate in regards to quality of the end product.
What about profit margins? I have always had problems with Printify-Etsy, Printify-Ebay linking. I have to raise my profit margins a lot to keep my accounts from going negative, so no one buys.
Yes that is a great point and I agree, it can be challenging. I typically try to offer great customer service and build up a repeat customer base. And I try to offer stuff (cool designs in good niches) that people don't normally go after. It is definitely a challenge though!
Good stuff, but it seems to be mostly foreign-sourced. ThisNew is lacking in some areas, particularly phone cases, for those of us who have moved beyond T-Shirts. But the wide variety of wall art options is nice. I especially like that they don't try to hide the shipping costs like some of the PoD partners. How did they do on the shipping? Was there estimate of shipping time correct?
Yes it's definitely a concern (and I think it would be different depending on where in the world you are located). I'm in Canada and I picked the priority shipping and it was here within 10 days. But I think a lot of it comes down to expectations with the client - like some people want it now and others can wait up to 6 weeks with no issues. I always recommend try & buy one small item so you can judge the quality and shipping times (for any site).
That is the one complaint or area for improvement with ThisNew - I find some of their products don’t print absolutely clear (they are a bit fuzzy, even with a super high-resolution file). I typically order one product for me personally and then judge for myself if it is good enough to sell. Plus I get cool clothes!
8*12inches thats rly small. its like half the size of the medium displate size and you have to use 4 screws. You will totaly destroy the wall and maby for a streaming setup they may be ok but for viewing you woud have to take 1 pic on 4 to make you see the picture on a longer distance and if u set up 2 pics thats 34 screws into your wall, then i rather go rly cheap normal posters if i cant afford displate. if u cant afford displate u prob rent aswell so have fun when you move.
I agree with you about the mounting, it is always a challenge (even with Displate - my walls have the stickers that house the magnets and I'm like "umm what will this look like someday when I move")
As a customer service rep, go easy on them. We don't find out anything until the customer finds out as well, in 99.9% of cases. Something is done and we're left in the dark as to why and left facing angry customers with no answers to give.
I'm just looking to get custom XL images made into a metal plate posters. Is this possible somewhere on any site? Displate I believe does let you request a custom piece but not for their XL // multi-panel sizes...
That's a good question. There are reddit threads (like Google "Displate reddit") and I've seen people request custom Displates on there. (Displate sellers often read those sub reddits). Another option would be to go with a canvas print - places like Redbubble, Fine Art America, ThisNew offer that sort of thing.
Yeah, and that's the unfortunate reality with websites like that and even thebone shown here. Very easy for someone to steal your work and make bank off of it.
If you are buying the product from ThisNew and you are selling it on your own website, then you would need to figure out a way to promote your products (like any business). Redbubble and Teepublic advertise for example. I like using Pinterest to grow awareness (it's free).
Thanks for showing us the new pod site. Keep it up bro

Displate spit on free artists recently, all they want are official licensed stuff, they are to big to care now

WOW thanks so much now I can actually make my man cave metal plates I wanted
A Thousand Thanks, Zen! I've been racking my brain trying to find the right POD poster site to get started with. This helps a lot.
Did you get something there
i've been waiting for this......🎉

bonjour
merci pour le partage. je vais regarder cela de près.

Great video bro,
thanks
Thanks. It was highly useful.

That is a great suggestion - thanks!!
@@zenwatercooler there is also discount counts you can use when buying a displate
So what was better? Displate? or artscow?
Cool! If we sell on FB Marketplace how do we get the interested customers? Do we use SEO/keywords?
Have you ordered a poster from them? If yes, how was the quality since I'm considering buying one?
I have ordered one yet but looking forward to doing a product review on them soon!
@@zenwatercooler I'll definitely keep an eye out for your review!

Great idea, thank you for the feedback! Let me see what I can do!

How does the integration process work?
What about the quality of the print if the picture is so small like 600-something by another small figure, what you mentioned in the example? 🤔

@@zenwatercooler I would do the same. Not sure yet, if I‘d even use this platform, though, there are so many other (better) ones, I guess.
Fantastic, thank you.
Is that image from a strong woman you used commercial-free?
Also, do you pay a month membership for this new?
@DEEPFOXJUDE Thank you for the answer! 👍
This image is soooo cool.
thank's zen

I give up on Displate, delivery has been "TEMPORARILY" unavailable in my area for 8 months now and support keeps just saying keep waiting.
What is your area?

do you have a tutorial on integrating "this new" with Etsy?
No, at this time ThisNew does not interface with Etsy. It looks like it is coming though, hopefully they get it set up shortly!
My design has been stolen and being resold on Displate. I've sent them email and hopefully they do some action to the account

Can I get my payment by Payoneer?
I am not seeing it on their site. It is removed?
Products > Home & Living > Wall Art. It's buried in that category with clocks and wooden signs, etc.
@@zenwatercooler thanks so much
do I need to advertise products or is it free traffic like on redbubble (for example)?
