If there was ever a game in dire need of a Component Proponent episode, it's this one. I also wanted to mention how much I appreciate you listing the sources of all your upgrades and the effort you put into reviewing so many diverse sources. That poor, abused game though....
I saw the first bend of the card and cringed, then motor oil on a card and had to look away, then the destroyed player mat I almost unsubcribed. Please don't do that again..Great work by the way.

The destruction of the game pieces was initially cringing and then hilarious. Love the addition. :) The best part of these videos is I always watch them even if I don't own the game or haven't played them. Keep it up.
...I was not prepared for the sheer amounts of component gore in this video.
I know I'm late to Terraforming Mars, but I just received my Terraforming Mars Big Box and the base game. All I can say is wow!
Forget the acrylic overlays.

That poor, poor game! Couldn't help but internally shudder a bit at that abuse. :-)
I don't recommend using a plano box (unless you plan on dumping the cubes out onto the table before each game). The cubes end up being really hard to take out during gameplay. Love the egg carton idea though! Think I may try that.

Love my player board two-piece acrylic overlay with the back. Haven't had any of the issues described. Love it.
