Ah, such a good video series. I've been watching since the Witcher stuff!
I think it's pretty interesting that ego can play a role in how a space faring empire, like the Klingon empire, conducts its business. It make sense on smaller scales, but with stakes so high, I feel like individual people doing things for "glory" would have more barriers.
And how does glory work in space battles? Does glory go to the leadership? Or does being present mean you get some glory, too? Do you have to fight? Kill? Die? What if you're janitorial or on food prep? When you're crewing a starship, I feel like things might get a little murky when delineating glory.

Love this video. I have a 🙋‍♂️ question. Why does everything end at deep space 9? Is that the last time the Klingon empire was shown on a startrek show? Or is a part 3 coming?

That's the end for now but the new shows may add stuff in the future.

Picard and Discovery are currently running shows that take place beyond the previous timeline ending with Ds9, so those two will be your best bet for anything new. In fact part of the first video came from Discovery (battle of the binary stars) but that was technically prequel content as it took place well before most of the Trek Series we know.

It’s been over 20 years and we still don’t know what happens right after ds9, like what happened to odo and the founders, does Jake Sisko ever return, idk feel like that was a great show with so much more to offer. I watched generations and voyager and didn’t care for those.

@@LazyLightSaber not exactly prequels per se, they just took place chronologically earlier both in real life and in the show world. CivX probably knows the dates better but Star Trek has had multiple runs from the 60's thru the 70's, 90's thru the 00's and now again over the last few years. The major reason most of it stopped at ds9 is cuz Gene Rodenberry the creator died.

@@LazyLightSaber also side note it's believed Rodenberry actually didn't approve Ds9 so it potentially wasn't canon but that's it's own bit of murkiness. Arguing star trek canon is bloody business lol.
