Loving the new text graphics and the new 3D animations look sick!! So happy to see one of my favorite creators grow so much! Shoot in just under a month it’s gonna be 5 years since your 1st upload!! So happy for you! Keep doing your thing! 💛
I can’t wait to see the 3D animated series you have planned! The hologram design of the animals reminded me of Ultimate Animal Countdown and Animal Fight Night on Nat Geo Wild.
Fun fact: It is thought that many sauropod dinosaurs had one single claw on each front limb which they used for a variety of reasons including defence and combat against each other. These titans probably collided like elephant seals do today scoring and stabbing each other's skin with their claws. Interesting how nature equipped the largest land animal with a trench knife in each hand!
Gotta say, claws are one of my favorite weapons on most builds, and I especially like the versatility they offer to a bipedal build. In past expansions, my favorite builds were Nothronychus, Baryonx, and Megatherium, all having great usage of the claws feature.
My claw tier list: F: Sea lions. What are these even for? D: Most primates. Their nails, while sharp, don't really aid in grappling (which these builds excel at without their claws anyway) and are pretty weak in combat. C: Dogs, bears, cheetahs, sloths: Ground-gripping claws are not good for combat. Tree gripping claws are awkward as hell to actually use. But they do grant a mobility bonus. B: Giant Anteaters. These claws have some of the highest anti-armor bonuses in the game and are so powerful they're used as anti-materiel weapons against fortifications. On the other hand, their basic damage is not great so they really need to be able to grapple into a crushing attack to make these things lethal. Horses and giraffes: Mobility bonus AND a super powerful attack with good reach and low end lag? Most lizards since their claws are both very sharp and good for climbing. A: Cats: moderate damage but excellent grip to help them land a lethal bite attack. Birds of prey: brutal damage rivaling bite attacks, plus excellent accuracy. S: Crabs. One of the strongest crushing type attacks in the game. Pistol shrip: Ranged hydrodynamic shock attack? WHAT?
Fingernails actually are useful for protection of the fingertips, strengthening the grip at the tip of the hand (for example when holding small things) and enhancing fine motor skills.
@@moteroargentino7944 When working in a meat plant I found I could no longer rip open oranges with my nails trimmed. Had to use a knife to cut the thing in quarters.
I genuinely would love a TierZoo game. A bit like spore - where speccing into certain traits would evolve you and everybody just eventually turns into crabs 🦀
Look up E.V.O.: Search for Eden, an old game for SNES that actually lets you start as a prehistoric fish, and as you survive, you gain XP that you can use to evolve your character and make it from one era to the next. It's not as complex as Outside, but I still found it a lot of fun.
Can you make a vid on plant builds? Though they mainly just farm XP, they also have some interesting mutations and types, such as how venus flytraps differ from flower builds, which are both different from vine builds.
Your suggestion for a video topic is too complicated. There is too much information for a short video. But, it would be a really cool topic for a video. The same could be said for theoretical plant biology of plants that travel in video games.

Million views on day 1, you're killing it, man! Thrilled with how far you've taken this channel and can't wait to see just how much more progress there is to be made!
Are Snapping Turtles OP? I mean, their attack is fierce on its own, but combined with their defense (Same as regular turtles), it seems a little OP. Not to mention the stealth aspect some players have included.
My party includes a canidae and felidae member. Both of their claw uses aren't optimal but really make me wish I hadn't specd into nails. That is until i remember just how OP the thumb build is in the current meta so our party comp is pretty symbiotic.
So I recently looked on your channel for a desert biome tier list and was actually surprised that there wasn't one! I love your content and would really love to see one!
One funny evolution point saving maneuver i have seen some crustacean mains do is that they Spend more evolution points on just one claw instead of both, getting one big claw and one tiny one. Not sure viable that strategy is but it is funny.

I am extremely excited about your announcement on implementing the 3D aspect to your channel! It just makes perfect since. Brilliant! Best of luck!
The bleed build up is really strong. Really an underrated weapon class.
So you're making that one show where they compared warriors of different cultures and their weapons but with animals? Sounds awesome.
Sounds like DeathBattle but with animals xD
You mean animal face off? It was a show in the early 2000s…
The only problem is when you are ganged up by other players then the bleed often isn't enough due to the time to kick in.
Would love to see a tier list specifically on the different types of melee, ranged and support abilities in relation to themselves and not specifically against their implementations (how well they are used)
While claws can be good, it seems like the best and most all-around useful claws tend to belong to builds that have really good stat spreads to begin with.
Woah, TierZoo's production quality has gone up a lot! This feels like it was edited by a Pro, did you get some more people on the team?
These videos are always so well made
fr tho lol
My brother in christ it was uploaded a minute ago u havent even watched it
@@poborn7212 so you really think tierzoo made a low quality video. Get outttta hereeee
Yes! Tierzoo rules!!
Man, that music at the end brings so much nostalgia!
The video quality now being higher than ever makes these so much more fun to watch. My personal favourite detail in this video is the Gen 3 and 8 Intimidate animations
TierZoo is one of the few channels i immediately watch when theyre uploaded. the edits are amazing as always. Congrats on the animation studio, wish you the best TZ.
Id love if you could gameplay as platypus, im curious about how you can make rentable such an unique build in the current meta
I was just about to praise the improved editing when you hit me with another announcement. Cool to see such a great channel finding success and constantly moving to bigger and better things!
What would a creature look like, that maxed every stat in the game. Maybe with animation you could give a good answer to that.
Love your videos ❤️
A human wearing armour, equiping a signature weapon and using a mount
Jeah, a human knight comes close to it.
But you would also need a trained falcon for spotting enemies.
If you only accept living animals, then I vote for the sperm whale.
They only real downside is they huge energy consumption.
@@molybdaen11 what about binoculars? Lol
@@sjonnieplayfull5859 Weight would minimize agility and speed though, and we don't have much of that already
Honestly I feel the new dragon build people have been leaking seems like its gonna be just that. Heavy, strong, fast, durable, they got it all, at least if the leaks are to be trusted.
Bats probably would have been a good segment around 6:00 as an example of an airiel build with climbing capability. Great video
But bats aren’t birds, and he was specifically discussing birds.
Yo the editing on this one was a huge leap! Congrats to Parker on the great job!
Sponge main fight me you wont
I had the most confusing moment of dissonance in my brain when I clicked this video and watched it on one screen while playing OSRS on the other; having two different iconic OSRS songs play in my ears at once without expecting it was briefly highly baffling.
This was a great episode as always, and congratulations on your upcoming 3D-rendered high-budget show!
Minor critique. Felids EXCLUDING CHEETAHS retract their claws when not in use. Discussing this trait and then segueing immediately into showing cheetahs is a bit deceptive.
Cheetahs actually can pull back their claws, but only halfway.
im pretty sure he mentioned this in a video where he talked more about cheetahs. it was probably just too small a detail to fit with the pacing
Idiot they don't got retractable claws, you chose the single big cat without retractable claws as an example bruh.
@Don't Read My Profile Photo sure thing!
This video confirms the massive increase in editing quality.
It’s excellent now, justly balanced and it supports the speech really well without taking all the attention away.
They also had massive claws on their hind feet, likely used for digging.
Sort of like iguanodon's thumb spike?
@@suchomimustenerensis5302 Maybe. We will probably never know.
Just saw this on Prehistoric Planet! Very badass!
I’ve always wanted to see Madagascar, Australia, and China tier lists, because they have such interesting and diverse species. As always, great video!
Yeah, those would be great videos!
Australia is the most dangerous server though...
Australia tier list already exists
@@andylaw3222 Dangerous to the human class or in general? I would say Africa is the most the most dangerous in general
Panda go f teir brrrrrrrrr
I’d love to see a video about the Amazon meta, it’s so diverse in its species
6:08 Not quite. Rattites, Anatidae and some Galliformes have been found to possess small claws on their front limbs as well.
True that. Queltehue's dive attack has a Big intimidation bonus that can force even humans to flee
Gotta say, claws are one of my favorite weapons on most builds, and I especially like the versatility they offer to a bipedal build. In past expansions, my favorite builds were Nothronychus, Baryonx, and Megatherium, all having great usage of the claws feature.
The editing on this is insane! The editing in all the vids are already really good, but this took it up a couple levels.
4:59 \*says felids have retractable claws, then shows a cheetah, a prime counter-example\*
My claw tier list:
F: Sea lions.
WHAT?
Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm not sure about the last one, crabs while they have powerful claws aren't all that powerful overall right?
You forgot the SSS: Wolverine
@@drow27 wolverine's claws are artificial
Fingernails actually are useful for protection of the fingertips, strengthening the grip at the tip of the hand (for example when holding small things) and enhancing fine motor skills.
@@moteroargentino7944 When working in a meat plant I found I could no longer rip open oranges with my nails trimmed. Had to use a knife to cut the thing in quarters.
The Octane stim sound at 5:07 with the cheetah is so good lol
I genuinely would love a TierZoo game. A bit like spore - where speccing into certain traits would evolve you and everybody just eventually turns into crabs 🦀
Wait, so carcinization happens in in-game games like Spore, too?
Look up E.V.O.: Search for Eden, an old game for SNES that actually lets you start as a prehistoric fish, and as you survive, you gain XP that you can use to evolve your character and make it from one era to the next. It's not as complex as Outside, but I still found it a lot of fun.
It’s amazing really to think about just how many types of animals have claws. Clearly one of the best physical skills to put your points in.
8:15 my brother in christ, Your channel is already the best wild life educational show.
TierZoo, I have watched EVERY video you posted and many, more than once. This is by far one of my fave channels on YT. Thanks for all the work and education you put into the videos! You're awesome!!!
Loved this one, Patrick. Great work. Can't wait to see your animated series.
I love these game videos. They've really made me a much more efficient player, and they've provided me with so many alternate builds that I don't ever think I'll be bored!
I love the editing it makes it seem so much more smooth!
Your animated series announcement brings so much joy to 8 year old Me's heart
I'm so happy you are able to produce the show every little kid dreamed of 🥰
How do these videos _keep getting better?_ 6:13 is amazing!!
I’m loving this new editing style! Definite upgrade while retaining the charm of the old style!
That's what it is when put into words! I didn't realize that was the term.
Thanks for helping me out with that!
I wasn't anticipating the quality of art I saw in the trailer for TZ's Nebula series, this is awesome stuff
You often talk about different damage types like piercing and slashing. How would a tier list of different damage types look like, and would categories them?
This is actually a very interesting topic.
One of his very early videos discusses something like this. It's worth taking a look
Damage is altered based on a few factors.
These factors include the stats of both animals, including size, and the type of damage.
Slash, pierce, blunt force, and bite (unless you categorize that with pierce)
@@VeraxMusic Poison/venom (smell, digestion, piercing, shooting)?

Thrilled with how far you've taken this channel and can't wait to see just how much more progress there is to be made!
Are Snapping Turtles OP?
I mean, their attack is fierce on its own, but combined with their defense (Same as regular turtles), it seems a little OP. Not to mention the stealth aspect some players have included.
nah too specialised to be OP
if you have strength / speed build you can handle them pretty easily, especially if you have the flying perk
I've been watching this channel for 4 years now and the quality in content is just amazing. Keep making the awesome videos!
7:50 whoever put up that birdhouse did an excellent job
The new mini graphics are looking amazing. Really looking forward to seeing your animations take off!😁
My party includes a canidae and felidae member. Both of their claw uses aren't optimal but really make me wish I hadn't specd into nails. That is until i remember just how OP the thumb build is in the current meta so our party comp is pretty symbiotic.
I don't know, pandas have that false-thumb and it doesn't seem to be THAT helpful.

I am so so excited for the new project, I can see your hard work shining through! Also your editing is phenomenal, love how this channel has grown
One funny evolution point saving maneuver i have seen some crustacean mains do is that they Spend more evolution points on just one claw instead of both, getting one big claw and one tiny one.
