I love how Ringo treated drums during this Pepper period. He managed the dynamics with e.g: not using the bass drum in the first part of the verses. Great work by the way!
Just wanted to thank you again Michael. You are the best at covering some of Greatest music ever recorded, I listen often and repeated time just to listen and watch your skill. Thanks again, Doug up in Green Bay, Wi. Hey Georgie!
In Penny Lane, there is a barber showing photographs Of every head he's had the pleasure to know And all the people that come and go Stop and say hello On the corner is a banker with a motorcar And little children laugh at him behind his back And the banker never wears a mac in the pouring rain Very strange Penny Lane is in my ears and in my eyes Wet beneath the blue suburban skies I sit and meanwhile back in Penny Lane, there is a fireman with an hourglass And in his pocket is a portrait of the Queen He likes to keep his fire engine clean It's a clean machine Penny Lane, is in my ears and in my eyes A four of fish and finger pies In summer, meanwhile back Behind the shelter in the middle of a roundabout A pretty nurse is selling poppies from a tray And though she feels as if she's in a play She is anyway Penny Lane, the barber shaves another customer We see the banker sitting waiting for a trim And then, the fireman rushes in from the pouring rain Very strange Penny Lane is in my ears and in my eyes There beneath the blue suburban skies I sit and meanwhile back Penny Lane is in my ears and in my eyes There beneath the blue suburban skies Penny Lane
Great playing. The 'feedback' sound at the end they made by playing the bar of a vibraphone with a bass bow, and putting a fingernail in the middle of the bar to get just the overtones.

Fantastic!!!! You could also do the ending as it appears in the promo version of the capitol disc, i.e. the very ending solo of the piccolo trumpet. In fact, your video was spectacular anyway! Thank you!
Amazing job yet again. Sounds just like the record
Thanks much, Dave!
I love rhythmic accuracy of the piccolo trumpet solo!

You earned a sub my friend
Everything about this is extremely accurate
Another one of those songs that just made me feel happy the Beatles were here on the planet with us making this music. Doug
The sound of both pickups on the Rickenbacker is such a beautiful sound
Bravo, my friend!😊
love how huge of a smile he always has when playing drums
Love Paul's bass runs and piano work

Fantastic job!
Just saw this at the end of a long week and it helped cheer me up a bit!
Then I have done my duty!
@@MichaelSokil indeed! Well done. Beatles are always good for that but this song hit the spot
Really good
Nice work. Keep them coming.
Will do, Don!
Simply awesome!!!
Thanks, man!
Fantástico trabajo!!!
Fantastic! Thank you for the detailed job. So electric guitar only has the one up strum at the end of the chorus? That made me laugh.
The Piano part was actually slowed down and pitch to half step down as you hear in the final mix.
Well done💯👍

I have often wondered what that was. Where did you hear that?
(GREAT VIDEO)

Penny Lane is an amazing song.
Cool stuff, man! What strings (brand/model) are you using on the Rick? Killer tone. Tks!
Well done! I actually have a cover of this song too as well as tons of videos extracting John Lennon's parts
Amazing!!!
I was wondering if I can get an isolated guitar and congas please
👏👏 bagus sekali.
Hi everyone
Great. Can you give me an isolated bass. You must have great neighbors lol
My neighbors are Beatles fans too! soundcloud.com/michael-sokil/penny-lane-isolated-bass
Great job! Where did you get the horn parts?
love the cover! just a question about the bass, are you using flats or rounds and do you have the mutes on or off?
Rounds, and mutes activated! I only recently added flats to my Rick!
Ringo had it easy on this one.
Missing some guitar. Otherwise excellent cover!
Good keep it up!! Cheers! I also try to create music videos, I would be happy if you could give your opinion :)
