You are multi-talented! You are a phenomenal artist. Your brushstrokes are a swift, graceful dance bringing life before my eyes. Your figures are alive in the beauty of your music. Your work sings and dances into our hearts. Thank you for sharing your many gifts!
Beautifully done! Short, sweet and to the point. And the music was a delight - lovely, uplifting and the perfect background for your easy, flowing style without being intrusive or overpowering to the tutorial.

I'm a raw beginner at watercolours, Trevor, and I love the loose style of this medium especially for landscapes. Your figure paintings are superb! Subscribed. Thank you!
It looks soooo simple, a tickle here a flick there but capturing the essence, the suggestion is achieved by talent, emulating what you do and achieve is always going to miss that special ingredient, well by me in any case. Thanks for the envy!
2 minute podcasts Thanks for those comments ! I agree it looks simple ...but lots of concentration and practice required ! making the best of an emergency is watercolour !!! :)
I cannot begin to imagine how I would ever be able to do that! It's as if what you see in your mind is flowing out of the end of the brush. I think I'll just go back to trying to colour-in between the lines!
Inspiring demonstration ... I wish you would teach HOW to do this, especially movement. Marvelous how you create life and movement in such simple, suggested figures.
Like so many other things in life; the way to do this is to practice doing it, then keep on practicing until you can do it without practicing. The great thing about painting is that when you are practicing all these different techniques to improve your painting style you only need to use the paints that you already have, any sort of paper will do for practicing with, it doesn't even need to have a straight edge so scraps are fine, and then you can burn the paper, or throw it away, afterwards. The biggest handicap a lot of artists have is being able to justify to themselves why they aren't practicing. I throw away a lot of paintings, but it is better than never painting any. Every now and then I do something that I really like enough to keep.
Thank you for sharing this, Trevor. What a marvellous gift you have. I agree that it takes years of dedicated and diligent practice to reach this level of ease and effect. Love from India.
Es fabuloso ver como fluyen del pincel con gracia y cargados de espíritu esos seres magníficos ! Lo mejor es que usted los comparta con nosotros. Gracias !
After your workshop in Newark on Tuesday thought I needed a refresher on painting figures!! Really enjoyed the workshop - had to dash off without thanking you - so thank you!!
¡Es tan importante saber cómo dibujar con formas simples una figura humana! Lo haces de modo ssncillo y esto nos da impulso para practicarlo. Gracias Trevor por tu demo!!
I just ordered your book Watercolor Flowers from Amazon, can't wait for it to get here. I am trying to loosen up my painting style and am getting a lot of inspiration from your videos, thanks so much for these:)))

That would be a dream come true! Thank you for the invitation:))) I would love to see your work in person. You are in England aren't you? Always wanted to visit there. I'm in the usa, too far away to see your studio. Thanks so much.
I always loved water color but I didn't have the nerve to start it instead I picked up acrylic. It's only been 5 months and i was told pretty good at it but when I watched your water color it's such inspiring and wanted to do it. I think I can do both. I like your style and I love to learn your techniques. What would be your suggestion for tutorial? I could also get your video for certain brush strokes. I would love to get start it. Sue.
Sue Dahabsu Well...I could suggest you look at all my videos here on youtube...first ..there are some books That I have on the market for tuition ...Harper collins publisher ..Titles " People in Watercolour " and " Flowers in Watercolour " You can purchase these online from Amazon...just type in my name to see whats available. I will be issuing some new VIDS SOON HERE ...so keep subscribed ! keep in touch ...T
Trevor, just watched this again, and I am still struck by the free hand drawing with the brush. You must be visualizing the shape, the proportions, the leg and arm positions as you draw to get them to read so well. I've been practicing on and off over the past months, prompted by your videos, drawing people and animals, so I guess the answer is...do it more! But now that I have one of those magic silver handled brushes, I have what I need!
Hi this is excellent could you tell us what type of brush and brand you are using please ? Also could give some explanation as to how as I am a beginner... thank you
+lara jurg Hi Lara I use a mixture of different papers for different things . this was Arches Aquarelle 300lb or 640gms NOT mould made . The others i use are Khadi handmade papers fro India and Fabriano Artistico 300lb 640gms All cold pressed ! Hope this helps :) T
Brilliant! I've seen you Valencia Market and I wonder whether, even though you probably were there painting, you took some pictures so that you could freeze people's movements. Thank you from Spain!

Beautifully done! Short, sweet and to the point. And the music was a delight - lovely, uplifting and the perfect background for your easy, flowing style without being intrusive or overpowering to the tutorial.
