My first time seeing you, and "liked/subscribed" immediately! This is what I want to do! This is like magic, to me. It's amazing how, even tho you don't paint in facial features, we can somehow see their expressions, maybe from the attitude expressed in their figures.. As soon as the video is done I am putting away my acrylic paints, and pulling out the watercolors. Thank you so much!
I am going to glad that i was able to inspire you at least a little bit! This is where my satisfaction comes true! You’ve also inspired me through your beautiful comments! Thanks a lot! :)
Fantastic drawing/water coloring technique! Right away I "subscribed" and clicked "like". I want to learn more figure painting technique. My heart leaps up after encountering your site.
Thank you so much 😀. Its so good to see if someone is interested in watercolor. Please stay tuned, i will make some videos on figure painting techniques for intermediate and advanced level.
Thank you very much! I am glad that you enjoyed it! Sure, i am in a process of releasing more beginner level videos. Feel free to leave any suggestions in comments or community tab! :)
Thanks so much! I think I have given my brush recommendations in description, having said that, in this video i used Escoda Perla size 16 ( synthetic hair ) :)
Really enjoyed this, thank you for sharing! Those Perla synthetic brushes look nice to work with , are you enjoying them for general watercolour paintings? Griffin , from South Africa
Hello Griffin, thank you for your time watching this! :) I am glad to know you enjoyed that. I use these brushes for my general practices as well as for my professional paintings. They are very pointy and let you create strokes like calligraphy! I use natural hair brushes for my washes and these synthetic brushes for making my brush strokes!
In this video, i have used Escoda perla , synthetic hair brush, size 12, and natural hair brush from Neef , size 10. Thank so much for your time watching this content.
Thank you for this suggestion, yes i’ve worked with procreate, with some custom brush you can have some good effect in procreate. In future i will probably create some videos on that. :)
Yes, you can! In fact many of these are painted without sketching. You can directly start with your brush mark as i did some inside the video. The more spontaneity you will show, the more artistic expression it would carry. Thank you for your comments :)
Actually there is one in my channel already, with pen and wash. Surely will do more in future! :) thank you for your interest. Cityscape: th-cam.com/video/QX3GuVyb2IU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=hdWOUve25tMOnvoR
Hi there! Thank you for your comments! For any sort of wash i use natural hair brush. Any natural hair brush would do. I use squirrel hair. Also synthetic hair brush is very helpful to build up your painting. I use escoda perla size 12 , 16. If you have these 2 brushes you actually can paint any sort of painting!
To start with, you can use some cheap brand. But for beginners, pigment is not the first priority, paper should be the first. But as soon as you grow little bit of confidence, use these colors, and you will see the boost in your improvement!
I have used Daniel Smith brand. Some of them are Winsor and Newton. I buy tubes separately. Only 4 or 5 colors. They are Yellow Ochre Cobalt blue French ultramarine Cobalt turquoise Alizarine crimson Nutral tint

Mastering simplicity is the hardest thing I ever did in watercolor. Let water do the work, they say!
Exactly, trick is to find the sweet spot where you’ll let the water do its own work but the way you want! :) thanks for your comments!
