My first time seeing you, and "liked/subscribed" immediately! This is what I want to do! This is like magic, to me. It's amazing how, even tho you don't paint in facial features, we can somehow see their expressions, maybe from the attitude expressed in their figures.. As soon as the video is done I am putting away my acrylic paints, and pulling out the watercolors. Thank you so much!

Mastering simplicity is the hardest thing I ever did in watercolor. Let water do the work, they say!
Exactly, trick is to find the sweet spot where you’ll let the water do its own work but the way you want! :) thanks for your comments!

Really enjoyed this, thank you for sharing! Those Perla synthetic brushes look nice to work with , are you enjoying them for general watercolour paintings? Griffin , from South Africa
Hello Griffin, thank you for your time watching this! :) I am glad to know you enjoyed that.
I use these brushes for my general practices as well as for my professional paintings. They are very pointy and let you create strokes like calligraphy! I use natural hair brushes for my washes and these synthetic brushes for making my brush strokes!
Excellent work , I want to make a good artist
Thank you so much! Sure! With practice you can be one!
Thanks
No worries mate! :)
❤
Thank you so much!
Mange tak for undervisning.😃
det var så lidt! jeg er glad for at du kunne lide min video! :)
Which watercolors did u use?
🙂👍
Excellent! What brush are you using?
In this video, i have used Escoda perla , synthetic hair brush, size 12, and natural hair brush from Neef , size 10. Thank so much for your time watching this content.
Thank you, it came in the mail today. Now I paint!
You must be very excited! Nothing excites me more than getting an art supply! :D
Forgot to ask: what brush are you using in this demo?
I was using , Escoda Perla size 16 brush, that is a synthetic hair brush. :)
Can you paint the same in Procreate? Thanks.
Thank you for this suggestion, yes i’ve worked with procreate, with some custom brush you can have some good effect in procreate. In future i will probably create some videos on that.
:)
Lovely video thanks. What type of brush are you using?
Hi there! Thank you for your comments!
For any sort of wash i use natural hair brush. Any natural hair brush would do. I use squirrel hair.
Also synthetic hair brush is very helpful to build up your painting. I use escoda perla size 12 , 16.
If you have these 2 brushes you actually can paint any sort of painting!
Do u recommend these watercolors for beginners?
To start with, you can use some cheap brand. But for beginners, pigment is not the first priority, paper should be the first. But as soon as you grow little bit of confidence, use these colors, and you will see the boost in your improvement!
@@tonaldrawing ok tysm for the reply ur drawings r rlly good
My pleasure, as always! :)
Please create City scape some people and cars.
Actually there is one in my channel already, with pen and wash. Surely will do more in future! :) thank you for your interest.

Can you paint these people without first sketching them?
Yes, you can! In fact many of these are painted without sketching. You can directly start with your brush mark as i did some inside the video. The more spontaneity you will show, the more artistic expression it would carry. Thank you for your comments :)
Very helpful!
How about birds in flight? Gulls, hawks, kingfishers, osprey?
@@debricci8533great idea! I will take a note to make
Video of them! :)
@@debricci8533thank you so much for taking your time to watch the content!
Which watercolors did u use?
I have used Daniel Smith brand. Some of them are Winsor and Newton.
I buy tubes separately. Only 4 or 5 colors.
They are
Yellow Ochre
Cobalt blue
French ultramarine
Cobalt turquoise
Alizarine crimson
Nutral tint
