2009 Mercedes Benz ML320 Glow Plug Control Diagnosis

This ML320 Blutec Diesel has a glow plug system fault code 13C700, OBD code P0670. Video shows diagnosis of the controller and circuits. I will post a follow-up when I replace the controller.

Good video this problem has been plaguing me for a few years now i have replaced the relay box but still get the problem i wish you could have pointed out the 10amp fuse location, last resort for me to try cheers my friend 👍👍

Same here, someone bought new car and I replaved plugs (three toasted) and the relay - still getting fault code. And no voltage at the plugs. Did you find the fuse?

Thanks, actually I replaced all glow plugs + the unit, therefore I'm about to check where the fault is, because the glow plug light is still on, and an error - lin communication appears through delphi diag. Did you experience it?

No I didn't but that glow plug controller is connected to the ECM via a 1 wire LIN bus which controls it. I'd check continuity of tge LIN bus wire and for possible shorts to ground on it. If my memory serves me that wire may also be controlling the alternator as well.
