Excellent video. I have a question for you. I have a 2012 Rogue with a MAF problem p01 01 code. The Nissan dealer replaced the MAF. I replaced the air cleaner. I did not replace the PCV valve yet. The dealer I go to tells me they cannot fix the problem any more than they have because they do not have a Master Technician??? I am going to have to travel a ways to get a dealer with a Master Technician. The engine light has gone on twice now. It is supposedly fixed now. If not and the light goes on again and the car seems to run fine I want to turn off the engine light. I purchased a Walmart Hyper Tough HT 100 code reader. It is not much on instructions. It connects with your phone via Blue Tooth to give an explanation of the code. I do not need an explanation and I just want to turn off the engine light. My question is, do I have to use the Blue Tooth feature with the HT 100 or can I just plug it to the plug in the car, turn the ignition to on, read the code, and push the red button to clear the code?? Thank you, Tom Spero

I'm sorry this may seem a little of a long text .Originally I had a lean code p0171 back in March. Looked for vacuum leak none to be found that I know of . Car still ran good . As time went on ,for about a month now the car began having poor acceleration, esp uphill . Finally the CEL went on p0101 maf sensor. Other leaned didn't come back . Took MAF sensor out , cleaned it put in back in , car still ran rough , still with theCEL on w MAF code, p0101. Only code. . Car running still weak. Yesterday CEL went off while idling, then it really ran shitty, even less power ,worse than has been . Cleaned MAF sensor again . Car finally ran normally , for 5 min. Took a quick drive .then the CEL went on again , car ran rough not as bad as before ,but noticeably different . Keeps messing w me . ! No other issues , codes ,etc just the poor acceleration. ??
It needs to be troubleshooted, but it looks like there is an intermittent problem with the MAF sensor. It likely is a failing MAF sensor or an issue in the wiring such as an open or bad connection.

Replaced oxygen sensor, maf is almost new, cam shaft is new , PVC is cleaned, vac hoses are cleaned, checked, throttle is cleaned, vvt valve is clean, intake manifold replaced, ... still having issue, loosing power, realy bad acceleration, especially on hill (even its small degree).
