I'm a seventeen year old girl, and I've never listen to this song until now, and about two weeks ago, my grandpa died due the covid-19 pandemia; he wasn't a devoted christian, but he believed in the last days of his life, and sadly have to died in an isolated room. We (as family) couldn't give him a formal funeral, and just seven relatives could go and see him get buried (i couldn´t go), and has been so hard, because two weeks before that my family got the virus, and my dad was sent to the hospital. In that time i was feeling so weak, i could see my life changing without my dad, and i felt like Jesus was given me a battle that i couldn't fight; but i did, i don't know how, but Jesus gave me the strength. The only problem now is that i started to keep all this worries and pain inside of me, i didn't tell anybody (not even in my family) of how i was feeling, and this song is exactly what i need, a rest in Jesus; it remember me of my grandpa too (my dad is fine, and everyone in my family is healthy now), who was a very sick men, now he can rest in the arms of my God. Thank you for the song.

Geez, this song made me realize just how far I've drifted. I mean, I go to Church every Sunday, but that is about it. I don't read the Bible, I don't pray every night, so on and so forth. What caused me to drift? I honestly don't know. However, even though I've drifted, God has not. He's stayed here and took care of me, despite my ignorance. And now, I am thinking about doing the scariest thing in my life: Joining the Military. Becoming a Soldier. I'm scared to death of it, but I feel a calling to it. The thing is, if I go, I may never come home. That scares me and my family. I'm ashamed because I am only now asking God for help, and that doesn't feel right. Only now do I turn to Him. Even though God loves each and every one of us, regardless of what we've done, I find it hard to just let God take over and help. "As long as you put your trust in God, you'll be fine." So I've been told. I'm restless, and wish to rest in God. Thank You.
It's not that "only now" you are turning to Him ... the time IS now, and you are turning to a loving God that never shows up too late. He is always here for us, we can always rest in Him. Amazing song, huh

Hey, just always remember, where ever you go and what ever you do, the Holy Spirit is with you always! You simply call on Him for help and remember He is there to protect and take care of you. After all, He is the one Jesus left for us in His place! He will be right beside you always. I know - He is always beside me too and helps me all the time. Don't be scared - you don't walk alone. Also, remember this - If God is for me, who can be against me?
I am not good at all at reading the Bible. I do go to church every Sunday and pray some every day. I pray more some days than others and that is what I find preferable.The majority of my prayers are for people who I believe need them more than I do. I almost died in a motorcycle accident in 2014 and I believe that I was saved because of the prayers of the many people who prayed for me when I needed the prayers.I feel as though I received a double blessing from God as He not only saved me, bringing me back to virtually normal physical ability, but he also made it possible to again enjoy motorcycling, which was always one of my greatest loves in life. I do not remember the entire month of June from the year 2014 and thus I have no memory of the pain that I endured so I can still motorcycle without fear. Now, however, I thank God for every minute that I am able to ride. When I ride is when I feel closest to God and when I always remember to thank Him.
This song has helped me so many times. As I have dealt with anxiety and panic, it helps me calm down and know that God is in control. When I feel symptoms of panic coming on, I listen to this song on repeat and it is so helpful. Thank you Audrey and thank you Jesus.
She is very gifted in that way. I know that both, my sisters and I, gravitated towards her music during very stressful times when we were going through tough spiritual battles, as well coping with anxiety, etc. One of my sisters suffers with bipolar and Schizophrenia, aka Schizo-effective disorder.

It's so nice to read loving posts here from people who love God. I read and comment on other videos about worldly issues and see so much hate there. I can reason with some, but most have a mindset that only God can penetrate. Thank you for the love I feel here.

It’s one of the best ways to hear that still small voice when we put everything else to the side and wait on Him. “So there remains a Sabbath -keeping for God’s people. For the one who has entered God’s rest has also rested from his own works, as God did from his.” Hebrews 4:9-10 It is truly a blessing to rest in Him.

Yeah you brought me here because it's really sucks and hurts when life is giving you challenges. Loosing everything this year from the beginning of 2020, with the lock down due to COVID 19,I was almost dying having pulmonary embolism and pneumonia at the same time, being in the intensive Care while I was alone far away from my family. But Jesus save me from Dead he gave me another chance to live. Yet I loose everything and don't know what to do next. Having depression and anxiety disorder because of what is the next step of my life. I don't see anything. But Jesus only you can save. I am restless please come and restore my life. Forgive me for been too much busy with my work and family than you. I am desperately need you to rescue me from myself. Here I am send me. I let out the sails of my heart , here I am here you are. The time I ever heard this song was at the Steubenville Youth Conference this summer Audrey sung it and it had me in tears.
This is the best song she ever did!! The newer stuff sadly lacks the depth and amazing melody!😕! I still play this almost daily.

Yeah you brought me here because it's really sucks and hurts when life is giving you challenges. Loosing everything this year from the beginning of 2020, with the lock down due to COVID 19,I was almost dying having pulmonary embolism and pneumonia at the same time, being in the intensive Care while I was alone far away from my family. But Jesus save me from Dead he gave me another chance to live. Yet I loose everything and don't know what to do next. Having depression and anxiety disorder because of what is the next step of my life. I don't see anything. But Jesus only you can save. I am restless please come and restore my life. Forgive me for been too much busy with my work and family than you. I am desperately need you to rescue me from myself. Here I am send me. I let out the sails of my heart , here I am here you are. Thanks you Jesus.
