I was a lukewarm Christian for so long. Living for the world and constantly trying to please everyone. I was sad. I didn’t have a relationship with God. I just claimed to be a Christian. Hang on, just keep pushing forwards your family does not get to decide who you will be stay positive, surround yourself with people that are a good influence when I was 12 I lost my mom, went into a home well let me just say it almost broke me without going into details but I pushed forward made good choices o who I associated with and things just started falling into place. 50 years old and three beautiful kids I now have the family I always desired. Have faith, with GOD everything is possible.

I want to share this. I'm a thirteen years old girl and once lost. Idolizing kpop stars, addicted to wordly songs, and once a lukewarm Christian. But God changed me in just one day, that day I started to read Bible and turn to Him, and He made it easy for me. He's really Great, He saved me. Yeah I was once lost but now I'm found. :)

I battled the demons of addiction for 10 years. I was left a broken vessel with my pieces scattered and lost. He gathered them and built me anew. 4 years clean and in active recovery. In that time I have competed my undergrad in addiction counseling… something I believed that could ever be accomplished… and now I am in my first year of a master of social work program. This is him working through me to help find and gather the lost pieces of other broken vessels so he can restore those as well. We who are built anew are his army of love and faith. My faith has been challenged as of late and yet he brought me to the shores of the message to clarify my view once again. I pray to him, thank for for all these blessings! For I am your victory, yet another masterpiece of your skilled sculpting hands, your will be done with me as you say it is to be. Amen!

When I was 11 years old I had 3 suicide attempts and I was hearing voices in my head telling me to kill myself, I honestly thought I was a mistake and wasn't meant to be here. But a little while after I turned 12 Jesus revealed himself to me. Now I'm 14 years old and I am going to be baptized in a few days, and the Lord brought me to a church full of amazing people. Lately it has been a struggle for me, but now I have something I didn't have when I was younger, a relationship with Jesus and now I know he is working through me and has a plan and purpose for me and that I'm going to come out of this battel stronger than I did when I came in because I know Jesus is with me and is for me. Lord I pray for whoever is struggling right now, I pray that you will give them peace and show them how much they mean to you because you love them more than anyone else on this planet loves them, you sent your son Jesus to come and die for us when really we are the ones who should have been on that cross Lord, taking the punishment we deserve. Thank you Father for the person who is reading this comment I pray for you to give them peace and strength, in Jesus name Amen❤️🙏 God bless you all😊

The same thing happened to me entering high school. My friends all moved away and I didn't really keep in touch so now I don't really have friends. Now I'm homeschooled in senior year which is pretty challenging.

I heard this song the day I was saved and healed from being an alcoholic. I had individual prayer from a complete stranger at church. The Lord spoke to her and asked her to pray for me and that I needed healing. I was surprised and I allowed her to pray over me, I was severely depressed, and even a bit suicidal. I was also in a broken marriage and my husband and I were separated. I completely let go and surrendered. I felt layers of sin be removed from me. I was numb, I was shaking and I was shocked when I felt the Lord and Holy Spirit overcome me! I had opened my eyes and everything and every living thing was celebrating with me!! The birds, grass, flowers and trees were truly happy and I have NEVER experienced anything like it! My kids witnessed later that day and all night how overcome I was! I praised Him, I cried, I had chains come off of me and I felt truly victorious! Jesus saved me! I was a Lost Sheep and He came for me and carried me and rescued me and I have NEVER EVER drank again! Jesus Lives! Jesus is my Hero!!! I love Him so much and owe Him my life and my best!

This reminds me when I gave my life to Jesus Christ, I was 13 at the time and now I'm 18 about to graduate from high school this Monday and I'm called to be an evangelist. Jesus set me free from addiction, family curse, anger, abuse, hopelessness, emptiness and much more. I'm one of the first in my family to accept Jesus Christ as savior and Lord and I don't regret one minute of it at all, I love the Lord and I will love him just as he has loved me

Always remember that we are not enough, and we cannot overcome it, but Jesus has already overcame it because of what Jesus did, we are dead to sin and alive in Christ, and death has no power over us. It’s not for us to overcome it ourselves. We should all believe that Jesus has already did it.
I've had depression since I was nine years old. I faced racism, emotional, and physical abuse. I've hurt myself multiple times in high school. I was angry at God since I begged him to fix me because I was broken. I thought he didn't hear me. But he did heal me, in his own time. I was saved by a lovely lady who prayed for me and I accepted Jesus that day. I also got the help I needed for depression and suicidal ideations. I'm still trying to overcome my struggles but thanks to God, I am still here. I thank you Father for everything you've done for me. I was once lost but now I am found. Praise God!

Hi Tina, I was 35 when Jesus saved me. All my life I felt that He didn't care enough to hear me or help me. I am 41 and I now know that GOD has been watching over me, my entire life. Not one day of my life has passed where He was not taking care of me behind the scenes. I am sorry you endured so much abuse in your life, I trust that GOD will heal your mind and heart, and that somehow He will also use your life experiences to help others.

Jesus saved my life not just once. I have been depressed and was in situation where I wanted to end my life. People around me did not believe depression is real, and I was laughed at. Even my family wasn't there for me, so I felt alone. I listen to worship songs and I feel him everytime, that's when I know he was the one who are stopping me from doing anything that will harm me. Now i'm loving my self more and I believe in him. Whatever is happening, I trust in him, I will make it through.

I was in hospital with aggressive blood cancer ... he took me in his arms and the only thing I could feel was gratitude and love ... I am usually a very anxious hypochondriac person but miraculously, unlike the “normal” me, there was no hint of anxiety or fear inside me ... it was during the second week of my first chemo cycle when my oncologist consultant came in my room to tell me he was amazed by how well I was suddenly doing .... two weeks before I was nearly dead ... so now he couldn’t believe the miracle unfolding before his eyes ... in the end of my second cycle I had already achieved partial remission ... and in the end of my four cycle chemo treatment I had achieved complete metabolic remission ... I now can see him clearly and feel his arms around me and see the miracles he’s brought into my life ... once I was ashamed but now I’m proud to praise his name!!! 🙏🏻💙

I have said and done so many things I regret, I have Anxiety, Depression, ADD, and have struggled with Self-Harm in the past. Nearly every one of these songs reminds me to forgive myself and move on with Jesus walking by my side. Just reading those few words you typed gave me chills. Today sitting in my room this song happened to come on and immediately I felt the love of God and peace fall over me. Tears falling down my fave as I got onto my knees and prayed. I surrendered to our mighty God and asked for his forgiveness. It was such a powerful moment. Please pray as I begin my path to sobriety and for the strength to move forward.

I USED TO HAVE REALLY BAD ANXIETY. I would overthink things, I was scared to talk to girls one on one, I couldn't even raise my hand in a classroom because I was too scared of people judging me. And I had never been to church and I never really believed in God or anything like that and then one day I went to this Bible study at my school and I enjoyed it and then I started going every week and started to learn about who God really is. Then I started going to church and Bible studies and I started to seek Jesus by praying and reading the Bible thinking "if God is actually real, I'm going to see if it's true". And then that summer I went to this huge church conference and on the last night the preacher said, "If anyone is going through anything or needs healing, I want you to come up to the front and ask God to heal you" and I went to the front, got on my knees and I cried out to God and I said, "God if you're real if you can heal me from my anxiety help me get healed" and right then He spoke to me so clearly for the first time in my life and it was one of the only times I heard Him so clearly and He said, "I've healed you from your anxiety, and it's not going to come back" and right after that happened the preacher said if anyone got healed to come up on stage and tell everyone and right when he said that I INSTANTLY got up, went on stage and told like 900 people that God had healed my anxiety and He did. And that happened in the summer of 2019 and it hasn't came back since then and I know it won't because that's Who God is. He's the God of healing. The God of miracles. And He loves you so much.
Now here's the most beautiful love story: Me and you? We have fallen short of the glory of God and we deserve hell. Because we have sinned against God and broken His commandments. And there's nothing we can do to gain heaven because heaven is perfect and me and you aren't. Now this is some devastating news! Well here's the good news: God loved us soooo much that He sent His only Son Jesus Christ to the earth, to live a perfect life, not sinning ONCE, and then dying on a cross for YOU. He paid the penalty for your sin so that you could be able to go to heaven! How awesome is that?! All you have to do is turn away from your sin, believe in Jesus, and that He's in full control of your life that He rules over you and you serve Him, and believe that God raised Him from the dead and you will be saved! It's not by works or being a good person. Jesus desires a personal relationship with you. Wow that is so incredible! Please turn to Him He loves you so much and so do I!! I don't know who will read this, but you have to know that even when you feel hopeless, anxious, devastated, you are not forsaken. Even when you walked away from God, He will not abandon you.
I was active in the church until one incident that made me turned away from God for 10 years. I suffered from anxiety disorder for years. I did a lot of terrible things, I refused to go to church, I didn't read the scripture. One day I really couldn't take it and wanted to end myself. I had no choice but to turn to God again, saying "Lord, I give up. My soul is yours. Save me". Almost immediately I felt a weird, sudden sense of peace that I couldn't describe. I was so confused. That sense of peace turned into something overwhelming and I started to weep. I was in my car driving. Imagine, I was weeping in my car in the middle of the road.
Soon after, I somehow discovered this song in Spotify. Again, I felt that similar overwhelming feeling. After that I kind of understand why I cried even though I wasn't sad:

I am a Christian. But I've been wanting to die ever since I was a kid (sixth grade). Recently, I was diagnosed. I have Clinical Depression, Clinical Anxiety and Bipolar 1. I am scared since I cannot control my mood. I've been praying to God to give me enough strength to fight these disorders. I know and I was informed by my psychiatrist that these disorders are something I will have for until I die. I need hope and strength to fight the demons inside my head. I am just 21 yrs old who's too young to give up on life.

All you need is Jesus the Christ and Lord of All. You will not fight these demons forever. You will be victorious and live a spiritual, full and Peace filled life in Christ. Give Him your heart and He will give you His mind and His mind is Peace. You may be called to be a spiritual warrior to battle the dark spiritual powers until you leave this earth but even in battle you WILL have peace I promise you

You know, I may not have depression and bipolar disorders, but I experience anxiety attacks from time to time. Especially at school. Everytime we do class presentations, I always have attacks. I can't breathe properly I tremble inside and I overthink. It is indeed a battle against our heads. But when I talk to my aunt about life and Christ, those little conversations give me strength and hope that one day, all these negative thoughts inside my head will go away. I pray day and night for Jesus to heal me, spiritually, mentally, physically and emotionally. I talk to my parents and they reassure me that everything's fine. I suggest for you to pray. And feel each word as they come out of your mouth. Try attending church services and listen to the testimonies of people. The miracles they experience will give you courage and hope. Remember, there is no 🌈 without the pouring rain. God bless you.
Read the Bible and listen to gospel songs only.
This you will not bare forever! I am a walking testimony that this too shall pass. We are very sensitive people with depression. Mood instability is not a flaw! It just means we feel deeply. It's a strength not a weakness! I am trying to get off my meds as we speak and just love God and know his way! Best wishes! 💛

I'm heartbroken now; I believe JESUS has a more excellent plan in my life.
I am praying for those people suffering from the guilt of sin. May we find the saving grace of forgiveness. NEVER STOP PRAYING. WE CAN NEVER PERFECT OUR FAITH BUT WE CAN ALWAYS ASK GOD FOR GUIDANCE.

I had to deal with the same thing as a kid. I’m sorry you have to go through that. But the good news is Jesus is always with you fighting for you never against you. You’re loved by your Heavenly Father. You’re not broken things will get better trust me.
