Jesus set me free from addiction, family curse, anger, abuse, hopelessness, emptiness and much more. I've had depression since I was nine years old. I faced racism, emotional, and physical abuse. I've hurt myself multiple times in high school. I was angry at God since I begged him to fix me because I was broken. I thought he didn't hear me. But he did heal me, in his own time. I was saved by a lovely lady who prayed for me and I accepted Jesus that day. I also got the help I needed for depression and suicidal ideations. I'm still trying to overcome my struggles but thanks to God, I am still here. I thank you Father for everything you've done for me. I was once lost but now I am found. Praise God!

I don't know who will read this, but you have to know that even when you feel hopeless, anxious, devastated, you are not forsaken. Even when you walked away from God, He will not abandon you. I was active in the church until one incident that made me turned away from God for 10 years. I suffered from anxiety disorder for years. I did a lot of terrible things, I refused to go to church, I didn't read the scripture. One day I really couldn't take it and wanted to end myself. I had no choice but to turn to God again, saying "Lord, I give up. My soul is yours. Save me". Almost immediately I felt a weird, sudden sense of peace that I couldn't describe. I was so confused. That sense of peace turned into something overwhelming and I started to weep. I was in my car driving. Imagine, I was weeping in my car in the middle of the road. Soon after, I somehow discovered this song in Spotify. Again, I felt that similar overwhelming feeling. After that I kind of understand why I cried even though I wasn't sad: Amazing grace, how sweet the sound, that saved a wreck like me.
I hope you're feeling better! Just know that the struggles that you go through is what God is trying to mold you into as a person. Continue to seek him because he loves you. :)

There are times He will ask you to take a path that is difficult - it may even look like you will lose everything; if you trust Him, He will be with you step by step and in the end, you will find yourself in a much better place. I battled the demons of addiction for 10 years. I was left a broken vessel with my pieces scattered and lost. He gathered them and built me anew. 4 years clean and in active recovery. In that time I have competed my undergrad in addiction counseling… something I believed that could ever be accomplished… and now I am in my first year of a master of social work program. This is him working through me to help find and gather the lost pieces of other broken vessels so he can restore those as well. We who are built anew are his army of love and faith. My faith has been challenged as of late and yet he brought me to the shores of the message to clarify my view once again. I pray to him, thank for for all these blessings! I have said and done so many things I regret, I have Anxiety, Depression, ADD, and have struggled with Self-Harm in the past. Nearly every one of these songs reminds me to forgive myself and move on with Jesus walking by my side. Just reading those few words you typed gave me chills. I have had some good and bad experiences with my church, but now only focus on God and looking to him to get through the day.

I was in hospital with aggressive blood cancer ... he took me in his arms and the only thing I could feel was gratitude and love ... I am usually a very anxious hypochondriac person but miraculously, unlike the “normal” me, there was no hint of anxiety or fear inside me ... it was during the second week of my first chemo cycle when my oncologist consultant came in my room to tell me he was amazed by how well I was suddenly doing .... two weeks before I was nearly dead ... so now he couldn’t believe the miracle unfolding before his eyes ... in the end of my second cycle I had already achieved partial remission ... and in the end of my four cycle chemo treatment I had achieved complete metabolic remission ... I now can see him clearly and feel his arms around me and see the miracles he’s brought into my life ... once I was ashamed but now I’m proud to praise his name!!! 🙏🏻💙

I was a believer ever since I was young. But my life started going downhill and I lost my faith. And I was a nobody. Just a sinful insignificant human. I hated myself, I wanted to end my life. I was a sinner. I couldn’t bare the pain the world gave me. But I can see it now. God saved me from the darkness and guide me into light. Slowly but surely, the pieces began to fall together. Once again, I returned as God’s daughter and I hope he can hold me again in His arms and bathe me in His warmth. Dear God, I beg you for forgiveness for forsaking you these past 5 years. When I lost my mom a few months ago, I was so angry with God. I prayed to Him and asked; 'If you love me so much, why did you take my mother from me? You know I need her.' But because God is so powerful, mighty and wonderful, he showed me why He did it and then gave me so much strength to carry on. Psalm 23 was the scripture that strengthened me at that time. Today I say, thank you Jesus, for my wonderful mother and the memories I shared with her. I still miss her terribly but I know she is with you now, back home in heaven. I am stronger than ever today, because God was and is beside me always. Thank you Jehovah🙏🏾🙇🏾♀️

I will never, ever forget having a particularly rough night while I was on vacation in Florida, and I walked out to the deck, the moon was shining brightly over the ocean and the waves were crashing on the shore. It was the middle of the night, it was quiet, as if I was the only one awake. As I started singing, tears streamed down my face, slowly but steadily. And through a shaky voice, I kept singing. It was then God spoke ever so clearly and said "This is what it feels like to worship Me through feeling broken." I will never forget that. That as I lifted my hands and with a shaky voice, sang these words. And ever so clearly hearing God tell me that I could be broken and worship.

He's a very loving Father who is in the endless business of restoring lives. I too was totally lost (lost my marriage, and my livelihood) but kept believing in His abilities to rescue me and sure He did come to my rescue. These days I'm filled with endless joy and gladness and I praise Him nonstop.

I heard this song the day I was saved and healed from being an alcoholic. I had individual prayer from a complete stranger at church. The Lord spoke to her and asked her to pray for me and that I needed healing. I was surprised and I allowed her to pray over me, I was severely depressed, and even a bit suicidal. I was also in a broken marriage and my husband and I were separated. I completely let go and surrendered. I felt layers of sin be removed from me. I was numb, I was shaking and I was shocked when I felt the Lord and Holy Spirit overcome me! I had opened my eyes and everything and every living thing was celebrating with me!! The birds, grass, flowers and trees were truly happy and I have NEVER experienced anything like it! My kids witnessed later that day and all night how overcome I was! I praised Him, I cried, I had chains come off of me and I felt truly victorious! Jesus saved me! I was a Lost Sheep and He came for me and carried me and rescued me and I have NEVER EVER drank again! Jesus Lives! Jesus is my Hero!!! I love Him so much and owe Him my life and my best!

I've had depression since I was nine years old. I faced racism, emotional, and physical abuse. I've hurt myself multiple times in high school. I was angry at God since I begged him to fix me because I was broken. I thought he didn't hear me. But he did heal me, in his own time. I was saved by a lovely lady who prayed for me and I accepted Jesus that day. I also got the help I needed for depression and suicidal ideations. I'm still trying to overcome my struggles but thanks to God, I am still here. I thank you Father for everything you've done for me. I was once lost but now I am found. Praise God!

I'm a lost 18 year old on drugs and running away fr the truth and the love of God. I grew up in the church and due to trauma I ran away from what I knew was right. Today sitting in my room this song happened to come on and immediately I felt the love of God and peace fall over me. Tears falling down my fave as I got onto my knees and prayed. I don't know who will read this, but you have to know that even when you feel hopeless, anxious, devastated, you are not forsaken. Even when you walked away from God, He will not abandon you.
I was active in the church until one incident that made me turned away from God for 10 years. I suffered from anxiety disorder for years. I did a lot of terrible things, I refused to go to church, I didn't read the scripture. One day I really couldn't take it and wanted to end myself. I had no choice but to turn to God again, saying "Lord, I give up. My soul is yours. Save me". Almost immediately I felt a weird, sudden sense of peace that I couldn't describe. I was so confused. That sense of peace turned into something overwhelming and I started to weep. I was in my car driving. Imagine, I was weeping in my car in the middle of the road.
Soon after, I somehow discovered this song in Spotify. Again, I felt that similar overwhelming feeling. After that I kind of understand why I cried even though I wasn't sad:

I battled the demons of addiction for 10 years. I was left a broken vessel with my pieces scattered and lost. He gathered them and built me anew. 4 years clean and in active recovery. In that time I have competed my undergrad in addiction counseling… something I believed that could ever be accomplished… and now I am in my first year of a master of social work program. This is him working through me to help find and gather the lost pieces of other broken vessels so he can restore those as well. We who are built anew are his army of love and faith. My faith has been challenged as of late and yet he brought me to the shores of the message to clarify my view once again. I pray to him, thank for for all these blessings! I was in hospital with aggressive blood cancer ... he took me in his arms and the only thing I could feel was gratitude and love ... I am usually a very anxious hypochondriac person but miraculously, unlike the “normal” me, there was no hint of anxiety or fear inside me ... it was during the second week of my first chemo cycle when my oncologist consultant came in my room to tell me he was amazed by how well I was suddenly doing .... two weeks before I was nearly dead ... so now he couldn’t believe the miracle unfolding before his eyes ... in the end of my second cycle I had already achieved partial remission ... and in the end of my four cycle chemo treatment I had achieved complete metabolic remission ... I now can see him clearly and feel his arms around me and see the miracles he’s brought into my life ... once I was ashamed but now I’m proud to praise his name!!! 🙏🏻💙

Jesus died for you and me on the cross and rose 3 days later ,freeing you and me from sin and he did this because of his unconditional love for us. So right now I urge you to accept Jesus as lord and personal saviour accepting him as the messiah and giving your life to him likewise as he gave his life for yours. Repent and confess to him your sins and he will set you free. Remember Jesus is the way the truth and the life no one can enter heaven without Jesus. Jesus is the only way. I will never, ever forget having a particularly rough night while I was on vacation in Florida, and I walked out to the deck, the moon was shining brightly over the ocean and the waves were crashing on the shore. It was the middle of the night, it was quiet, as if I was the only one awake. As I started singing, tears streamed down my face, slowly but steadily. And through a shaky voice, I kept singing. It was then God spoke ever so clearly and said "This is what it feels like to worship Me through feeling broken."
I will never forget that. That as I lifted my hands and with a shaky voice, sang these words. And ever so clearly hearing God tell me that I could be broken and worship.
I had a similar experience recently. Isn't it amazing when we worship Him alone? :)

He's a very loving Father who is in the endless business of restoring lives. I too was totally lost (lost my marriage, and my livelihood) but kept believing in His abilities to rescue me and sure He did come to my rescue. These days I'm filled with endless joy and gladness and I praise Him nonstop.

Always remember that we are not enough, and we cannot overcome it, but Jesus has already overcame it because of what Jesus did, we are dead to sin and alive in Christ, and death has no power over us. It’s not for us to overcome it ourselves. We should all believe that Jesus has already did it.

So am i dude when i am listening to their songs i remember how Jesus loves us and i remember all my sins 😭😭😭
I heard this song the day I was saved and healed from being an alcoholic. I had individual prayer from a complete stranger at church. The Lord spoke to her and asked her to pray for me and that I needed healing. I was surprised and I allowed her to pray over me, I was severely depressed, and even a bit suicidal. I was also in a broken marriage and my husband and I were separated. I completely let go and surrendered. I felt layers of sin be removed from me. I was numb, I was shaking and I was shocked when I felt the Lord and Holy Spirit overcome me! I had opened my eyes and everything and every living thing was celebrating with me!! The birds, grass, flowers and trees were truly happy and I have NEVER experienced anything like it! My kids witnessed later that day and all night how overcome I was! I praised Him, I cried, I had chains come off of me and I felt truly victorious! Jesus saved me! I was a Lost Sheep and He came for me and carried me and rescued me and I have NEVER EVER drank again! Jesus Lives! Jesus is my Hero!!! I love Him so much and owe Him my life and my best!

When I first heard this song I was in a very dark place in my life in and out of jail since I was 13 I had no home no support from family I lost my son due to something I didn’t do when all I was trying to do was be a good mother I hated the world and I blamed life Death did not scare me I welcomed it with open arms and felt like jail was my only home I had no hope I didn’t know God and thought I could never be happy. Till I went to a program I almost died in a bad car accident and came out with no scratches and God showed me in a dream that heaven is REAL I was shocked and wanted to learn more about him while I was in program I first heard this song and God’s presence filled my body and the room I fell and cried extremely overwhelmed by his love and have been a firm BELIEVER ever since he saved my life Thankyou lord
