100% - 20 + years I had walked away from god. I grew up in the church. My father was / is a pastor. I went to 3 years of Bible College and have seen many healings and miracles within my own family and around the world and the reality of Jesus and God often. Basically I made a mistake and sinned and from that point forward condemnation and guilt slowly stripped me of my relationship with the lord. I got heavy into drugs and sex and ultimately it just left me void and empty. But during that time During I always had longed for and missed Jesus... but due to my addictions and behavior I was never able to come back to the Lord and make it stick. A little over a year ago I came back to the Lord and to be honest with you it felt like I was saved for the very first time in my life. I felt like I really was a different person. To be honest the change was so significant Within Me that I often wonder if I was even saved all those years before when I struggled in my own power to try to be more Godlike. Nevertheless I'm sharing my story to Simply say this, if anyone has tasted the Lord at one point in their life, chances are that longing to be back with the Lord is still poking away at their heart and conscience and God is faithful to eventually bring them home. Audrey will come back to the lord. Jesus says he does not lose his sheep and I believe that.
Audrey cannot "fall away". God has a hold of us, we are not always able to cling to him, but that doesn't matter, He has us. It is a long path. Love and blessings to all.
You should read your bible on this subject a litttle more. Its one of those subjects that many people are deceived unfortunately. According to Hebrews 6:4-6 it reads "it is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age and who have fallen away, to be brought back to repentance...." I hope for her sake she hasnt truly experienced all those things before renouncing God and can be brought back into the fold.

This sheep has definitely had to be rescued at times from my own wandering but to totally renounce Him, to say you don’t believe in Him but just some “universal force”? That is difficult to understand. To have tasted of His goodness and then to forsake Him, that is dangerous ground. I pray she repents.

I am so glad to discover this song, and have the opportunity to sing it at my church. It is such a beautiful song and a simple, authentic message of God’s goodness. I am also not surprised that the source of this gentle, soulful voice would seek spiritual enlightenment from another practice outside of Christianity. She has not left God’s home, she has opened herself up to more of it. God’s grace is so expansive and limitless. We should all be so lucky to be pulled into other practices that allow us to be well rounded spiritually and to be with Him and feel his glory across many planes.

But whenever hear this kind of song about unfailing love of eternal GOD, brings me hope and strengthens me to overcome the fears and falls because nothing matters in this world for me when i die. I am so glad to discover this song, and have the opportunity to sing it at my church. It is such a beautiful song and a simple, authentic message of God’s goodness. I am also not surprised that the source of this gentle, soulful voice would seek spiritual enlightenment from another practice outside of Christianity. She has not left God’s home, she has opened herself up to more of it. God’s grace is so expansive and limitless. We should all be so lucky to be pulled into other practices that allow us to be well rounded spiritually and to be with Him and feel his glory across many planes.

29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:
30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
