Actually all of the information anyone could possibly need about scammers is already posted on the internet.... There are channels dedicated to it. There are groups of people who spend their time scamming the scammers They need to put the shows that expose the scammers on regular television, not cable.... That's the only way to make sure it reaches the target audience

She brought to my attention that she was on a website for lions, and was chatting with other animal lovers on the page. She told me that someone started asking her specific questions about where she lived, which she didn't answer. Then they asked her to send a photo of herself to them, which she told them wasn't appropriate, and she declined. She then got off the website. I told her how proud of her I was, and I explained how "cat fishing" works. It's terrifying to think that my precious aunt could have been a victim of such a predator. So concern for me is that there are people somewhere that are "catfishing" these people who they have groomed and are vulnerable to suggestion following through eligid suggestions-how far does this liability go and why are these people who are praying on vulnerable adults and children not found being held accountable.
So I have encountered a few catfishes over the years and knew what I was dealing with so I conversed for a few weeks to see how they operate and they’re very convincing. It’s kinda terrifying tbh. Kids or emotionally vulnerable people would fall into their cons very easily.

Omgoodness been married for 45yrs. I’m so glad his daughter got nosy and looked thru her mom”s phone. She must of known something about her mom stepping out on her dad! Thank you Mrs. G for covering this case. So sad for the husband to go thru, glad he survived the poisoning, best thing he did was to get away from her and get a restraining order. I guess now a days some married ppl are taking the till death do them apart , literally, by trying to take partners life..Divorce would be so much better instead of being in Prison till death.

There is a bunch of talk on Reddit. The best guess is drugs. They OD’ed on fentanyl. Guy in the house was also sickened by substances or had paranoia and couldn’t deal with the situation. I mean he didn’t even answer the door when the woman broke into his house. It’s such a weird sad story. Anyone know about the woman who went for a walk to the store and was found dead in a backyard? Didn’t she also freezes death..

I've been a true crime person my entire life - even before true crime was a genre, so I've been onto people my entire life and look at everything and everyone with a bit of a jaundiced eye, so to speak, but not everybody does. I live in Colombia and women here do some sort of catfish but in person. They tell these men that they are in love with them and some last for a couple of months or a year until then they poison the foreigner lover with Scopolamine (a drug that is made from a flower that grows here) and then the men are asleep for days, some die, and then the girl takes all his property and brings her homies to steal all the men's stuff. Happens alot here.

I often receive messages from unknown men, usually "U.S. military". A frequent opening is " I find you really attractive". I only have photos of my gorgeous dog posted and I am often tempted to respond: "If you think I am a mixed breed dog who likes zoomies and to roll in mud puddles then you will be disappointed"
I can see how someone could fall for a catfisher, not really but I understand it, but to kill someone to be with anyone (even if the person is real and not a catfisher) that goes too far, I can’t understand someone thinking that a death by my hand would EVER be valid.
I think there are many other unaccounted deaths by poisoning and we are only hearing more cases now since people and LEOs are more educated on the topic, the symptoms and crime factor.

I think because so many are from other countries it is very hard for police in the US for example to be able to do anything about it. It is very disgusting so many get away with it.
They are also typically located in foreign countries outside the jurisdiction of the victims' law enforcement. So they are nearly impossible to find/extradite/prosecute.
There are catfishing reveal sites where they have managed to track them. Sometimes by sending a parcel with a tracking device or other means. Sometimes catfishes use third parties but these catfish revealers sometimes travel to these and politely pressure them to reveal the originator. Often the middle person has no idea anything dodgy is going on.

I've used image search on my phone but just added and extension to my Chrome Browser which has the find image source you used.... less innocuous reason I guess but on some crochet/knitting groups on FB I've seen people posting pictures as their own but didn't know how to find the original. One was saying I've just finished these items for my grandkids. I didn't get a response but semi called them out just by saying "oh, I saw those at the beginning of December etc. It infuriates me that people try to pass of creations as their own. Do they really get anything out of the praise they get for someone else's items

That being said, when we’re being logistic (which is needed) it’s also important to speak on mental health and how we maybe more susceptible when in a depressive, manic, psychosis or other altered state.
