I thought the dark secret was that it makes you forget where your knob is! (6:09) 😆
Do you set an amount of double entendres you can fit into each video? 🤔😉
Absolutely all love your videos - your enthusiasm shines through in each one.
As you would say, a cracking little van. Except for that one little hitch. I suppose you’d have to take a camping stove.
Gas isn’t in a separate locker . I have a Toyota velfire conversion best thing ever 😂
I'd shove the gas out completely. Have the worktop remodelled to fit a double Induction Hob and get a mattress topper for those fold down seats. But, that's just me and it would be just me. Just about to do Euromillions ticket. Wish me luck.
betting is that gas has no air vent through the floor, prob no regulator fitted too, and ideally should be inside its own locker, ideally a metal one too.
You could rig a locker on back door or a crash tested monitor on gas pipe
Yes needs a sealed locker fitting 👍
It's suitable for a "Solar Generator" and remodelled for an induction hob and run the compressor fridge off it. Then you don't have an issue with gas!
Most of the conversions done, only use a rubber gas pipe from the bottle direct to the gas Cooker and not in a proper gas locker with a vent. Its a common mistake for a lot of self build van conversions as well. That's why it fails on the habitation certificate
The only thing with theses is there is no toilet or shower which is a baisic need 😢
You didn't mention who made the conversion and where. If this is a conversion made in Japan and it looks suspiciously like a conversion by Toy Factory or White House, the these were never designed to be used with gas bottles. This is because in Japan, it is now nigh on impossible for an individual to get their propane tanks refilled for leisure vehicles. If you do, you are required to take a safety test and be certified. Therefore, campers and motorhomes in Japan are designed to be used with cassette gas (usually a dual adapter is used) that are ubiquitous here and can be purchased in supermarkets, convenience stores and DIY shops. Also, you cannot board a ferry if you have a propane tank onboard and to get the northernmost main island of Hokkaido, you must use a ferry. Hokkaido is the 'Mecca' for campers of all varieties in the summer months. If there is heating, it is typically a diesel heater which will also run on paraffin. Again, paraffin can be purchased at petrol stations and DIY shops anywhere easily and a paraffin stove is the main heating source in winter in homes alongside air conditioning units. I have just had my French caravan (Rapido) converted from using propane to using cassette gas for the cooking hob and a diesel heater for warmth.
I’d like too see you swap places with your wife and let her do a video it will add a bit of glamour lol
No way for leaked gas to escape, normally a vent in the floor of gas bottle storage area. Wouldn't touch it as is.
Yes needs proper gas locker and drop vents, these are being done ready for the new owner 👍
No curtains or blinds ? other than that not a bad van
Nice van but you can't legally tow with it
Why can't you tow with it then my friend has got one and he has got a tow bar on the back of his one 🤔
Toyota never stamped the vin plate with the weight it's capable of pulling therefore it would make your insurance void
@suefromstoke4076 that is very interesting I did not know this thanks 👍
