    Thank you, great video, I like them both amazing value, I think you can spec a 170 engine as an upgrade. I prefer the B64 for the layout of the lounge, it seems lighter and brighter without the wardrobe, fridge and bathroom positioned immediately behind the driver's seat. I wonder where the ladder to the pop top bed is stored during transit? I think these will become very popular and it will be interesting to see how Bailey tweaks the design as these two models bed in. Hope your Sven arrives soon, you must be champing at the bit by now!!!!!

    If you want storage. We've run two Horizon Unlimited Innovations in the past. Innovation 1 was a 5m Transit 4 seater, 2 berth with a 2ft deep 'garage' across the back, under the kitchen worktop. We had a custom made two dog crate in there. We had dog grooming table, folded puppy pen, two Isabella chairs etc on top of the dog crate. There was also a proper Thetford toilet on board. The Innovation 3 was the medium wheelbase Transit with same config, just a deeper 'garage' to use the extra length. It's a shame that no mainstream PVC converter has sought to develop that config.

  • @Outdoor_Cycling_Adventures
    @Outdoor_Cycling_Adventures 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

    the lack of the garage to store a bike is what this is lacking but again it's that compromise - but would prefer bike storage.

    I think Bailey have done a fantastic job on these two vans. The bathroom door is a bit of a faff, but the merits are enough that it makes the faff worth it and regular use would make one soon get used to it. I can't help but feel that a microwave in place of the oven would be far more useful. The same applies to the Bailey Discovery caravan lineup that interestingly uses the same design of cushion. The Phoenix range upwards of caravans have both, so that's fine.

    I really like the B64. Couple of questions - is there space for things like an inflatable paddle board or chairs without just storing them in the main corridor. Also, the brochure mentions the upgraded 12inch touch screen infotainment system but these models didn't appear to have them?

    • @CampervanTime
      @CampervanTime  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I think these were final pre-production vans so might not have had the full spec as per the brochure (like the B62 having the underslung gas rather than an internal bottle). Storage might be the compromise on these layouts but maybe use the bathroom to store things when travelling or a towbar mounted box?

    Excellent review, thanks 👍 We checked the Endeavour B62 out yesterday. Currently loving our VW T6.1 camper but the space and functionality of the Bailey is very appealing. However we use our VW as a daily driver / 2nd family car, so wondering how practical the high top / 1m longer Endeavour would be as a daily driver. Any thoughts on that? Are you using the Sven as a daily driver or weekender / holiday van only?

    • @CampervanTime
      @CampervanTime  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      There’s no doubt it’s bigger and therefore more constraints (height as well as length). We don’t use our Sven as a daily driver, but we didn’t use the Cali as one either. The biggest challenge with a 6m van is finding parking spaces where you can overhang the back when you reverse in so it isn’t sticking out. However, the space, fixed bed and bathroom in the Sven make the compromise worth it for us - it feels very decadent having been used to a Cali for years :)

    • @andyelliot3428
      @andyelliot3428 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@CampervanTime Thanks, appreciate the response. Much to think about, like everything there are pros and cons, the VW T6.1 is such a versatile vehicle but when you see the space (and yes, decadence!) with slightly larger vans, it’s difficult to look back. Enjoy the Sven.

    • @CampervanTime
      @CampervanTime  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No that’s right from what we’ve seen. You have two singles down below and then the ladder out for the pop top. Obviously you could make the double up once people are up in the top but you wouldn’t have any way of getting them down !

I'm really put off by having to try & deal with Salespeople that come across as a greedy Second hand car sellers (the ones that have to go off & talk to their Boss before they offer you rubbish money for your really clean low mileage FSH van). Things should be so different. A bit of honesty & transparency is needed to build confidence for the buyer.

    70,000 pounds for what a very “base” model. And does this exclude or include VAT?
    One of the biggest “cons” of the motorhome conversion market is presenting prices without VAT.
    A 70,000 pounds excluding VAT product will cost you an additional 14,000 pounds thanks to the parasites who run HMRC.
    With “additional extras” the price can easily end up exceeding 90,000 pounds.
    So when comparing products - make sure you know what the real prices are and what you are really getting.

Motor homes are also far too expensive for the regular buyer unless you hitch yourself up to a lengthy finance deal. My motor home was expensive enough and I suspect I’m not alone in saying that I’m not parting with mine to lose value on that and take on unacceptable finance. Come on industry when will you wake up to the fact that vans are unaffordable for most, no matter how many LED lights and foldaway this and that you include.

      @@pageant1fd A family member had his go . first sign is sudden breaking loss and the disintegrating belt blocks the pipes that provide assistance for the brake servo.
      It cost my family member approximately £2000 to repair the engine. It's very very common problem. Don't take my word for it Google it

    Thanks for sharing guys. Very nice vans. Although the first layout was the usual boring layout. No offence meant just my personal opinion. However, the Endeavour is a brilliant one ….love it 😉👍 I have a 23 year young Murvi Morello with the sofa opposite the sliding door. That’s the best place for it…..again in my opinion 😉 I can only dream of owning a new one. 🤔🚍⚓️🇬🇧👍
