I’m an intuitive and this is true. You see this play out all the time. When your energy is no longer with someone, that’s when they start to miss you. If you are always thinking about someone, your energy is with them and they have no space to miss you.
It is scary how spot on this video is. Eight months of no contact, and my ex reached out. Right when I was moving on and dating again.
I'm in the same position it's been 9 months...she had two failed relationship in that time .I'm in no contact last 7 weeks... it's tough but I'm not stalking her...I think she will contact me even though she said would never speak to me again after me chasing her. I had 2 years with her and we had great times but I was guilty of being too smothering

Yeah trust me, they came back because they realised the grass wasn’t greener, they realised they messed up by dumping you, if you got anything value or respect for yourself, I wouldn’t bother with them. i took an ex back and they were just the same, I progressed in the time apart and they didn’t. doesn’t work out very well.

You guys helped me through a really tough time 2022. Horrendous. Dumped after 10 happy years, so I thought. He found another. I Immediately went no contact. So so hard to do. Cried daily. Even my dog seemed lost without him. I listened to your podcasts ALOT at night when I was alone and very upset. You don't realise how much you guys helped me to function and go to work etc. I met another, he's so so sweet and kind. I've been in no contact for 16 months and last week the ex reached out...via my dad....had the best life with me and wants to speak to me.....well, I've told my new man all of this, and my ex can get lost! 6 months - 12 months is the hot period for these ex’s to return. Of course you are going to chase and fight for them, over do the reach outs etc for months, you aren’t going to shake hands and be okay, don’t stress it, you can come back from it if you finally remove them and everyone related to them out your life, focus on yourself, and the people in your life. you will be a new person in a few months, and they will realise you aren’t chasing anymore, now it’s starting to sink in, now they feel the results of dumping you. now they wonder what you are doing. Don’t have social media contact!!!!! it’s a killer for sparking curiosity.

Sometimes exes comeback sometimes they don't. Focus on moving forward and making yourself your best so when we meet the right person we have the best to offer. And when they do reach out if you respond keep it brief keep it slow. Stay focused on personal growth so if you want to move forward with them they know you have new standards
Its like when you are in a relationship, you are controlling and clingy; which made them feel trapped. But when you move on, you no longer need to worry about the person, or be clingy at what he or she do. Because of that, they feel free so they come back....kind of like being free from toxic relationship.

After putting my life on hold for over a year, I've decided it's time to let it all go and move on. I watched loads more CKs videos and I see where I went wrong over and over and over. I hated myself for it. I decided the life I was living wasn't sustainable and I also decided I don't want to hate myself anymore, so I bought the books and got to work.
I met my soulmate and I blew it. I'm not letting that happen again when I approach my next relationship. My focus is now on me and my personal growth. Your focus should be you and yours. Take care and love yourself.

Craig , my girlfriend broke up with me close to a month ago. As expected, I was struggling and felt down. I started watching videos about what was going on and others helped but I felt I could never fully trust what they were saying. I found your channel and fell in love with Margaret’s warm heart and your advice was insightful and even comforting.
I am writing this to tell you that what yourself and Margaret has taught me has inspired me and has made me enrol to study Psychology and philosophy at university here in the UK.

People you WILL get over your ex. All you need is a good support group around you and dont flood your feelings on them. Once you start to live your life again theyll realise what they missed out on. And eventually youll realise what you missed out on. FREEDOM!

My ex reached out about three weeks ago after two months of NC. We saw each other three weeks later, he was really curious and asked a lot about my life. I told him all the things I had going on and loved doing and he was surprised by my personal growth. He had bought a new t-shirt(I told him a year ago that I liked that color on him) he had a plan for what he was going to say. I asked if he was thinking about me and he did. But still, he doesn't want me back. He's really not good at communicating and I think he is confused. He's 23, he just wants to try being single, being with his friends and family, without me. But I hope someday when I move on he will realize what he lost. because after seeing him I know my worth, and even if I still love him, I still know he's a coward for letting me go.

True NPD belong on an island together. There is no documented case curing anyone. It's sad. I am sorry this happened to you. I was with true NPD. Felt spun off my axis. That's an abusive relationship. If there was ever a situation when permanent no contact is needed, this is it.
I feel like that's why I got dumped he had so much going on and I think a midlife crisis. We got along super great and he always said how great I am. It amazes me when I hear stories of situations that seemed far more hopeless than mine and ended up with success stories. Although I feel like things usually end up like this for me.

I have one ex that keeps coming back and there was a time I thought I couldn’t breathe without him. We dated in high school grade 10-11, then he broke up with me and shortly later he moved away. About eight months later I finally put myself out there and was about to go on a date, as I was going out the door my ex texted me!!! We slowly began talking and dated again for a year and a half when he broke up with me again!! 6 months later I had a new boyfriend and he messaged me the day after the guy and I made it official! Twice he’s come back after I meet a new guy I swear he can sense it lol. Too bad my recent ex is the one I want back not him 😂

No contact works people. I have moved on from my ex who broke up with me for no reason because he had a fight with his mother the next I knew he was blaming me and picking a fight with me. When I questioned (Daniel) he blocked me for 3 months. I was hurt but kept the No contact and a few months later I met another man (Charlie) who appreciates me. I just realized it's bcuz that's where I was when he was 1st attracted to me happy & not needing him. So we're all energy & they can sense that... and that's why... bcuz they're attracted to us when we're feeling our best & most attractive... even if what they did in the relationship caused us to feel less attractive 😔 it's like they were testing us to see how strong we really are
My ex reached out to see how I was going. But when I said I’m doing well and am happy, she accused me of never loving her. Meanwhile, she accidentally over shared she’d been sleeping with the one guy I accused her of cheating on me with while we were together. Then accused me of cheating and just went off at me. Making the breakup and all her negative feelings on me. Then telling me over and over how happy she is and that she’s not coming back. After that I told her I still care about her but and shocked to find out about the other guy and then blocked her.

Oh there is a force, after months when you finally stop reaching out and actually no longer care, they will fucken reach out, then you think do I even want this person, I would have done anything months ago, now you don’t care as much... I say stuff them.
In a way it's annoying lol They almost always reach out 6 months later and I'm pretty much over it by then (point of the video.) It would be nice to sometimes try the relationship again 3 months after the breakup if both people improved while there's still interest but at the 6 month point it's like it would be cool to try again but there's very little feelings at that point.

I'm not dependant on my partner and have never been. I just really miss her. She was my best friend as well as my partner, I hate no contact and I hate everything about our situation. She says she doesn't want to lose me, but she also doesn't want to be with me. She says she will miss me, but doesn't want to talk. She tells me She truly values me as a person and an influence in her life, but also says she needs space. She still really likes me as a person and even loves me, but says she wants to move on. I'm so confused and hurt at the same time. I don't know what she even means. I assume she is just as confused as I am, but man would I prefer we could have an open discussion about what we both want rather than pure silence and hiding our feelings from each other.
edit: One thing Margaret said really resonated with me and my breakup. She told me she was really anxious about her future, career and income. She was completely lost in this. Eventually she told me she was unhappy with me and broke up with me. I wish her family didn't hate me for no reason. They pushed her to break up with me for months. At the start of our 4 year relationship they told her to break upfor an entire year because it'd never work out anyway. I fucking hate them, I think they're disgustingly despicable people who try to manipulate her into doing whatever they say. They finally managed to break her with pushing her to break up with me because her WORK wasn't going well. Disgusting people

It’s just been 3days we are talking now...not like before but slowly. I too wanna take my time so. It’s lockdown so and I also don’t want to rush either. I left my ex he refused to commit to me or get any counseling for himself after a horrible 25 year marriage. I got tired of listening to the excuses after 2.9 years. What if I truly don't want him back? He keeps saying horrible things to me I guess because I finally walked away. I was really working on myself TMS therapy, counseling even getting a job after being retired. All the things he found fault with me. Now I don't want him the tide has reversed finally.

I still have nightmares about my ex who played games like this for 4 years. I never classed him and finally moved and changed my phone number. You may have a favorite book and you can read it over and over, but the end is always the same.
My ex reached out to me two months after the break up but I have already moved on and I’m seeing someone that is 10 times better than my ex. I told my ex he really needs to MoveOn and I do not want no re-consolidation. It’s sad because he tells me he still loves me, but if he really did we wouldn’t be broken up.

Just left the door open with a girl that I messed up with as I walked away last week and I already am unsure if I even actually ever want her back. Didn’t beg or act rude, but I definitely over pursued and accidentally scared/pressured her. I think that’s just the petty and immature side of me thinking because she blew me off and I take that personally even though I know you shouldn’t since you don’t truly know what’s going on
