Ted saw the potential in him and brought him up to who Ted thought he could be. Nate would not have had any opportunities without Ted believing in him. Betraying Ted, tearing up the sign, awful to Will, slating the team and the management in press conferences, are just a few of the things Nate has to make amends for before he's redeemed in my eyes. If he can text Rupert then he can text Ted. It didn't necessarily have to be an apology, he could have said "nice to see you at the game." Even though it's doubtful that Richmond wins the league I'm hoping that Richmond beat West Ham at Nelson Road to prevent them from being Champions.

More specifically, What I want to see happen is, nate employs a strategy to shut down jamie and dani, but Nate ignores any tactics to shut down collin cause nate underestimates him, Then Collin steps up and scores the wining goal.

We're probably all rooting for Ted and Michelle to reunite yet feel conflict toward Nate because the writers made Nate's betrayal personal to the audience. The underlying psychobabble here is that Nate IS the audience, we all have a bit of Nate inside, temptation is not exclusive and we all make mistakes, but have a great deal of difficulty forgiving ourselves. Still think the team doesn't get relegated. Nate makes peace with Ted. The team might be taken over by Beard and Roy.....maybe even Nate. Ted goes back home to fight for Henrey and Michelle. The way they show Michelle repeatedly using Tedisms is something i notice.
I never liked the whole Jack/Keylee arc. I felt like it was just filler, to keep Keylee relevant in the show until the later episodes. Also I wish we got more Coach Disco lol
I think you need to be a little easier on Nate with his communications with Rupert. Rupert is Nate’s boss and antagonizing your boss is never a good idea. Saying thank you protects his source of income.

I think the reason the wrtiers had nate delete that text and write the "good thank you" was to show that Nate still insecure when it comes to people in power like Ruppert and Nate still cares what ruppert thinks and was scared to go against what he thinks ruppert wants.
nates definitely reddemable, and I like how the writers have been slowly taking their time with it. Makes it more believable, then if he just was immediately redeemed. I also think we will get a little more backslide from nate before he is redeemed. Maybe Jade will have to talk him out of his antics or something.

Absolutely, Nate connecting with Jade is symbolic of him connecting with his repressed feminine, which only came about by him being real with his mom and sister. Pretty typical Psyche 101 stuff. At Richmond Nate became focused on the top of the pyramid (Maslow's hierarchy) and interpreted it wrong -- self-actualization' is the top, which is internal and has nothing to do with power over others. Nate's journey is ours -- not to mention they have to resolve it before selling Apple seasons 4,5,&6.

He didn't wave back cause he was confused by the encounter as shown by him changing his text response back to ruppert. Not waving back is not a sign of evil or not being irredeemable even if it is to be percieved as rude. His text to ruppert still show's that nate is conflicted as to how to stand up to power figures. He is still insecure, but his smile at the end of the episode when reading the article about ted henry and beard, shows he still cares about them. nate is 100% redeemable, always has been, but he is not perfect, and it would be unbelievable if the writers made him redeemable immediately without faltering. It is hard to change expectedly when you are insecure, but nate is doing his best.
