What I love about the show is how it displayed mature emotional intelligence, personal integrity and accountability, owning up to one's failings and striving to do better. It was so refreshing in the face of so much negativity and poor behavior on the part of many people, fictional and nonfictional.
The first comedic drama I have ever seen that relied on communication to resolve conflict rather than generate it and did so without feeling preachy or contrived. Really beautiful writing, heart felt, real and bloody hilarious. Best of its kind ever made.
🇨🇦My daughter asked what all the fuss was about regarding Ted Lasso and I believe I went on for at least 30 minutes and still didn’t properly communicate what I wanted to. I said that the Ted Lasso character has a Will Rogers/Mark Twain vibe and he seems to withstand both successes and failures with the same relaxed attitude. Jason Sudeikis is brilliant and it’s obvious that all the other actors, along with the writers, producers and crew are as talented as anyone can be. Each episode is beautifully done and I’m looking forward to binge watching all the seasons again. The “fish out of water” theme is fascinating and anyone that finds the Brits as complex, loveable and hilarious as I do, can enjoy the never-ending life changes and apparently ever-changing lives of the characters. Each actor is believable and genuinely endearing in their own right. I’ve fallen madly in love with this television show and I’m hopeful that they’re able to keep it going for many seasons because each story arch for the characters is wonderful. I know that I’m not alone in wishing that all of these people were friends of mine. Perhaps that’s part of what’s best about Ted Lasso. It can make a person recognize many aspects of themselves. It’s like a most varied and extraordinary smorgasbord that is both satisfying and keeps you hungry for more.
Hannah is just beautiful inside and out. She is spot on. This is such a breath of fresh air. ALL of the things she said are true. Man, we need more of it too. 💕
The care they take in writing this. It takes a long time to write and film and you can see the genuine love and level they all work at. Love them. Love the show so much ❤

How far this show has influence: last week in a cathedral choir rehearsal in New Zealand, two men ( bass and tenor) were observed letting loose with the Diamond Dogs howl!!!! No idea what the sharing had been about, .... possibly not about music? ....but the howl was recognised instantly! And I had to smile!
I kept hearing about this show and would say "Yes, I will after I finish other shows. Last month, I decided to watch. I am hooked !! This show is amazing. The American and British humour brilliant!! I am rewatching the seasons now while I wait for a new weekly episode to drop!
I also had been hearing about it since the very beginning but I didn't have access to Apple T.V. I've been staying with a friend and we binged all three seasons. As high as my expections were, I was still blown away. The writing (and some of the comedic seemingly throw away lines) is stellar!

As late comer to the Ted Lasso family and brand new fan….I love this show. I am a massive believer in acts of kindness. I will be buying my AFC Richmond shirt from the Warner Bros store and I am about to introduce my wife to the show…… (I binged the series whilst she binged The Morning Show)
Especially Roy Kent's character beginning episodes of toxic masculinity where violence and yelling & avoidance is how to handle conflict to talking things out and being willing to be vulnerable & face one's fears with other men to handle conflict let alone the growth he displayed with gf where they broke up.
It's like an expose of each their own lives that just needed to come together (written in the stars) to teach the world about the human condition. There is no other show that used this method (reality) to make a show about life and good people in it...! Bravo to all of you!
I'm in love with this show and this cast but as much as I enjoy listening to Jason, I wish all the actors were equally included in the interview. Also, these are the questions (and the answers) we've heard before, the same questions are asked with different words each time... I wish more creative interviews were made.
I've seen other interviews, and it does seem like Jason loves the sound of his own voice just a bit too much. Of course his voice has created one of the best TV series I've ever seen. But I do wish he sould let other folks talk as he lets them in their acting roles.

I remember watching the very first episode of season 1 - thinking I’ll give it a go by the end of the drinking tea scene I’m English and hate tea too. I loved Fawlty Towers - watched when it was initially aired. That was about a man that cared but displayed it as comical anger. Ted Lasso is diametrically opposed to that but just as funny, well written. Ted is a troubled man but he has this poster with the word “Believe” at the front of his brain. It’s really cheesy but I love the idea of the poster “Believe” and have one on the wall behind my monitor. BTW on all my comments I mean the characters not the actors.

The whole thing is great, and I thought season 3 was where they all really clicked. I had so many laugh out loud moments watching that season, which is in my opinion a testament to comedic timing and finding a groove.
OK, random sidenote- did anybody have the big Barbie (the one that did not fit into Barbies clothes?) and she was about a foot taller than Barbie… that's who Hannah reminds me of … she's so pretty and tall :-)
