Remember Deborah, who was a judge over Israel? If God didn't want women to pastor/be in positions of power, then Deborah wouldn't have been a judge. The judges were chosen by God Himself-and His Word never contradicts with itself. Very wise words Pastor Rich, I wholeheartedly agree with you. God bless you my brother :D

As a woman I know my place and understand my role. As I read GODS word its very clear to me that pastoring is not my job but for our MEN of GOD and I'm more than ok with that because I love Jesus and don't want to deliberately disobey what he says. All whats written is the inspired word of GOD, from him, no matter which apostle said it.

When Paul said women shouldn't teach or have authority over men, it wasn't a recommendation, it was a command from God. He started off with saying "I do not permit". That means he does not allow. Are you more spiritual then the Apostle that God entrusted to instruct the churches in holiness? Paul said it; "follow me as I follow Christ". If he didn't permit it, no pastor should permit it either. Paul went on to remind the churches as to why he doesn't permit women to teach or have authority over men. He said because man was created first, and Eve was the one who was decieved by satan, not Adam. When Paul spoke of women wearing a head covering, he wasn't recommending that either. He said it as a command from God. He said the reason women should wear a head covering (while praying and or prophesying) is because the angels are watching and it shows their submission to authority. Any woman who claims to be submitted to authority should wear a head covering (while praying and or prophesying). No excuses. These were commands from God brother, not recommendations. Paul did say that women can pray and prophesy in church, teach other women and children, witness, etc.. The Bible does not prohibit women from teaching or serving in the church. But it does prohibit women from teaching men or holding any position of authority over men in the church. I personally believe this is why so many churches lack power, and if they have power, they lack order. God has established an order in the church. The body of Christ needs to stop catering to the patterns of this world. We are not of this world. Jesus chose 12 Apostles, not one of them was a woman. Why? Think about that.

@CalledUntoHoliness Paul said in 1 Corinthians 11:5, women can pray and prophesy in the church. If women are permitted to pray and prophesy in the church, women are also permitted to teach doctrine to other women and children in the church as Paul instructed the women to do in Titus 2:3-5. Paul restricted women from teaching and having authority over men in the church. But that doesn't mean that women can't teach at all.

A woman can be wonderfully used in God's kingdom to minister to other woman; prayer warriors; leading worship etc but she is not permitted to be the Pastor of a church. Richard, do not get too modern brother. We cannot shape every scripture into “our own context”
Us women are made to dress modestly (1 Timothy 2:9-10) and cover our heads (1 Corinthians 11:5)
As well as be equip with a gentle and quiet spirit (1 Peter 3:4)
Neither should we take part in ANY outward adornment (1 Peter 3:3)
If we look at our lives and it looks like the rest of the world then that proves that we are lukewarm.
We are called to be set apart.
It is not oppression but it is simply God’s rules. We cannot change God’s rules for the convenience of us but we must ALIGN OUR LIFE according to His rules. It may seem challenging at first but we must do it. Modern churches are straying away from the TRUE Jesus and teachings Richard. God bless you brother💖

Referring to 1 Peter 3:3 - God is the owner of gold and silver. It is not sin to have a taste for fine jewelry sophisticated fashion, wearing makeup, doing your nails, or having beautiful hairstyles; It's the intention behind those things. If you don't like it (personal style) that's perfectly fine, but be careful because suppressed desires can turn into jealousy; especially for us women.

Women should not be in authority in the Church…
    1 Timothy 2:11-14
[11] Let a woman learn quietly with all submissiveness. [12] I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet. [13] For Adam was formed first, then Eve; [14] and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor.
Women should wear head covering comes as a command from Paul…
    1 Corinthians 11:1-5
[1] Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ.
[2] Now I commend you because you remember me in everything and maintain the traditions even as I delivered them to you. [3] But I want you to understand that the head of every man is Christ, the head of a wife is her husband, and the head of Christ is God. [4] Every man who prays or prophesies with his head covered dishonors his head, [5] but every wife who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head, since it is the same as if her head were shaven.

If not, then it’s not an issue and she doesn’t have to. It’s a personal choice. I wear head coverings too and still acknowledge that it’s a choice.

We also have women’s Bible study and Women’s group at the local jail. I know that when the Pastor’s wife speaks, I often learn a lot. I'm really grateful for your ministry Rich. I was in a season of wilderness back in 2019 due to wanting to be healed from a sicknesses that I didn't even know what it was and not being healed from it, broke me. I started doubting my faith and salvation. I was raised in a Christian family and had faith in God and Jesus, but not a relationship. So when I didn't get healed, I honestly didst know what to do. I started seeking online for preachers to listen to, so I could get help and I stumbled upon a couple of teachers and preachers. However some of them were against healing, speaking in tounges and believed that the gifts of the spirit had ceased. This led me further into a spiral of confusion because I grew up watching Kenneth Copeland, Benny Hinn and Kenneth Hagin. It even made me think that my parents were my enemies and that they were decieved by this "false doctrine" of the "prosperity gospel".
Years later I slowly began to understand what it truly ment to be a Christian and the power the holy spirit gives you. Even so I still have a bit of religious thinking in my heart. That's where your channel comes in. Thanks to the ROCC I've been breaking free from religion, sermon after sermon. It was thanks to this ministry that I was able to speak in tounges for the first time. It was amazing. I didn't feel a particular emotion, I just closed my eyes after Pastor Richard prayed for those who wanted to speak in tounges and I waited. Seconds later I felt a urge to open my mouth and out it came. It was beautiful.
So thanks again for everything Pastor Richard, you've help me break free from religion as well as give me guidance in my spiritual walk with Christ. I can't wait to see where God takes this ministry. God bless ❤

This is wrong. Follow the scripture and not your feelings. The word of God does not permit women to usurp authority over the man. Please know God for yourself and read the word. It is not "sexism" is God's order of creation. Adam was first formed and then Eve.Then Eve was deceived, and God told her that her husband was going to rule over her as a result of her disobedience. Its all in Genesis 3 and 1 Corinthians 14:34-38, 1 Timothy 2:11-15, 1 Corinthians 11:3-8.

Jesus is no less than God there is just an order! If you are out of the divine order we can see where the devil gets busy. Adam is the covering. Adam and Eve Didn't get kicked out of the garden when Eve ate the apple! The fall happens when Adam ate the apple because he is covering! He is speaking about a order not about slavery! My grandma started to get more involved, now There’s a committee of man and woman that decide every decision of the church, but the whole committee chose my grandma as the authority and as the pastor, but in order for that to happen there was a process, a lot of prayer, lots of decisions made and the authority of God himself to get involved and authorize it. It might be bc I grew up like that and with her, but when you see the ones that are supposed to take care of their people, taking advantage of that, there are some exceptions for how the authorities work.

This is a dangerous Message. A Woman is definitely not allowed to be a Pastor.
      Corinthians 14:34
"The women should keep silent in the churches. For they are not permitted to speak, but should be in submission, as the Law also says."
The Orthodox Church follows the order established by the Apostles themselves.
Christ chose only men to be His Apostles, who themselves never ordained female priests.
Even God himself came down as a Man, not as a Woman.
God assigned roles to Men and Women from the Beginning of Creation.
He expects those Roles to be played out in his apostolic Church as well-there are no Exceptions.
When the Roles are switched, Satan has an Entry Point-Just observe Satan's Influence on the Protestant Church.
Because a Woman’s Role is to support her Husband in all Subjection, she can’t fulfill her Role as a Woman if she’s teaching Men at her Local Church.
Teaching Men requires Authority and Leading which isn’t in her Role as a Woman in Relation to Men and especially Husbands.
Instead, she should be learning, and if she has Children, teaching them, until her Son turns into a Man, to be taught by a Man.
By allowing Women to pastor and teach Men, they commit the Sin of Disorder and this gives the Devil Entry into the Family and the Church to destroy it.
Your Example of Prophetesses has nothing to do with the theological Doctrine of the Apostolic Church.
A Pastor brings a Congregation to God through his Message about God.
A Prophet brings a Message from God to the Congregation for God.
These are two completely different Roles, given by God, so you can not and should not compare them.
This Ideology is dangerous, an Invitation to Satan to destroy the Holy Apostolic Church.

Yes it does. It doesn't say "wife of one husband" or if you were married. It SPECIFICALLY says "husband of one wife".

he went against scripture. God's Spirit inspired Paul to write that
      Deuteronomy 12:32 (Old Testament):
"Everything that I command you, you shall be careful to do. You shall not add to it or take from it."
      Revelation 22:18-19
18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll. 19 And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll

I believe what the Word of God says about women in ministry women should teach other women. We can be teachers evangelists and prophetess deaconess but women can’t be over a church. This is why the church is in the state that it is in because we not following the order in Gods word now we are struggling in the physical with “PRIDE”agenda. As women we have to get out of our feelings about trying to be equal to a man we all have our roles to play and it is equally important as the man it’s just not the same as the man.

I suggest my short and free essay on Deborah.
Men and women are perfectly equal spiritually.
She was a pastor, according to the scriptures.
This is how the Judges are described in Chronicles.
To say a woman can be a Judge over Israel, but a woman can't be an elder in a small church, just doesn't make any sense scripturally.

    • @brandy3713
      @brandy3713 ปีที่แล้ว

@@user-iz8np3vv4i Respectfully, I think that it makes a lot of sense. There is no need for women to over men when God set the tone for order. Deborah was also a judge during the worst time in Israel history. She was also a judge. This is speaking to the order of church that is established in the Word of God. Look at the state of the church and look at the state of the world they almost match in terms of no one knowing their roles. Men trying to be women and women trying to be men, spiritually, mentally and physically. The woman's role in the church and in the world is just as equally as important as the man. It is just not the same. Look at the order of creation, God set it like this. Then again his creation as always rebelled against the order he set. This is Historical rebel. Remember God's ways or not our ways and His thoughts not our thoughts.

      you wrote:

There are no 'roles' in the New Covenant. How could
God make Deborah a pastor in the Old Covenant? He
would have had to violate this so-called 'order' that He
      created.
How could God give to a woman the ability to execute
men for their sins? A Judge could judge homicide cases,
according to scripture. There was no appeal to the verdict
of a Judge, according to scripture.
Again, I can paste up my short essay on Deborah if
you wish a study. This is what God did. There is no
confusion about doctrines and their meanings.

    • @brandy3713
      @brandy3713 ปีที่แล้ว

@@user-iz8np3vv4i Yeah it is not the same though. I am very familiar with the story of Deborah. Deborah was a judge not a pastor though. The bible is very clear on church order. And that is all I am speaking on what the bible says about church order. And if you believe that the Word of God is truly His word then you asking me a question that only God can answer cause it is in his Word. People tend to be very emotional about what is fair and what is not in the Word of God.

Most below is taken from my essay:
A Judge at this time, was VERY different from a judge in our time.
The Judge was over the nation of Israel. But not as a man, as
King, or as a woman, as Queen, because God was not rejected as King as yet.
God ruled Israel through the Judges.
Wheresoever I have walked with all Israel, spake I a word to any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to feed my people, saying, Why have ye not built me an house of cedars?
      -excerpt 1 Chronicles 17 verse 6 KJV
Major modern English translations like the NASB use
the phrasing ...whom I commanded to shepherd My people...
[PASTOR - Origin: late Middle English: from Anglo-Norman French pastour,
      from Latin pastor ‘shepherd’.]
In all places where I have walked with all Israel, have I spoken a word with any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to shepherd My people, saying, ‘Why have you not built Me a house of cedar?’
-excerpt 1 Chronicles 17 verse 6 NASB translation
      Also:
Also I will ordain a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, and they shall dwell in their place, and shall be moved no more; neither shall the children of wickedness waste them any more, as at the beginning, and since the time that I commanded judges to be over my people Israel.
-excerpt 1 Chronicles 17 verses 9 and 10 KJV -God speaking to Nathan the prophet
More, proving a Judge was a pastor:
But it came about, when the judge died, that they would turn back and act more corruptly than their fathers, in following other gods to serve them and bow down to them; they did not abandon their practices or their obstinate ways.
      -excerpt Judges 2
      What happened after Deborah's time?:
Then the sons of Israel did what was evil in the sight of the Lord; and the Lord handed them over to Midian for seven years.
      -excerpt Judges 6 -first sentence
Also, a Judge had the ultimate in spiritual authority.
A Judge, according to scripture, had the authority to
judge homicide cases. So if a Judge gave a verdict
that a man had committed the sin of premeditated
murder, the Judge could, and had to, order his execution.
As his execution was required for this sin under the Law
of the Old Covenant. Also, according to scripture, a Judge's
verdict could not be altered or appealed.
      ... in accordance with the verdict which they tell you, you shall act;
you shall not turn aside from the word which they declare to you,
to the right or the left.
      -excerpt Deuteronomy 17

This a soul damning message. You can't preach against Jezebel and at the same time encourage the spirit of Jezebel by teaching women to usurp Spiritual Authority over their Head the man, and also not honour and recognizing their submission to their head by covering their head. Repent you are in error.

Great teaching, Rich: Yes, the core of this is a Woman leading the church as a covering or a lead pastor. God ordained roles in male and female genders he created, not because he is sexist, because he is God & a God of order. There is a purpose for this order in the church. He used many women incredibly in his word, historically just as he used men. Thanks for tackling this topic head on!

By the way, it was women who first proclaimed the gospel that Jesus was risen. See, among others, Matthew 28. Thus, it was women, here Mary Magdalene, who were the first to evangeliz others.
