I have to admit it's been a while since I saw the japanese dub but it's nostalgic. The english dub hits the same too. You'll have good laughs all through the series.
Beefcake (the giant) predates the AoT manga by about 3 months. (even in the OG webcomic the design is still recognizably similar). So any resemblance to an Armored Colossal Titan is purely coincidental.
Beauty is just kinda fresh to anime but caught up they were trolling other animes while others who watch anime for years didn't even notice it. BtW beast where did you train?
It's funny. I've read the manga and watched the anime and I genuinely feel, watching this show, the same as Saitama does for having overwhelming strength. There's always a lot of buildup for something great, some struggle, some kind of tension, and then it's just Saitama winning without any difficulty. It's pretty boring. A let down. The best moments are the moments when the normies are struggling with villains. You actually feel some tension then. Those are the moments that define this series, really. The moments where Saitama is interacting with folks, when others are struggling, or emotional development. Those are the good moments. I honestly feel like the Mangaka intended for this to happen. Saitama says "Being too strong is boring" and it really comes through in the storytelling. His strength doesn't make the series better, when you consider how it makes you feel, he's right.
