Love the tidbits about the king building hospitals to treat sick kids for free. That is amazing. Love live Cambodian monarchy, but given that the current king has no heir, this tradition may not last. :(

Cambodian palaces received their architecture from Thailand. During the period when Thailand ruled Cambodia.

At 8.24 are traditional Siamese (Thai) costumes. The Cambodians received these kinds of costumes during the time they came a vassal state of the Siamese Kingdom. You can see the guide even pause for a little bit before tried to think of the proper word in English when she asked what are these costumes called in Cambodia because they are the Siamese costumes. In Thailand, we just call them “Choot Thai”, choot means clothes and Thai…I think you know what does it mean. Actually, there is a specific name for Choot Thai like these but no need for in depth details here.

16.16 is Siamese style pagoda because the first 4 kings of the Narodom royal family line which is the current royal family that rules Cambodia today were all educated in Bangkok. Actually, the king which this pagoda belongs to prefer speaking Thai language than Cambodian. These were all recorded in documents.

Thailand steals copies of Angkor Wat and the Royal Palace from Cambodia ... by hiring Cambodian workers who know how to carve and cast stone, wood, concrete ... the most expensive traditional copy from Cambodia ... You visit Angkor Wat, Thailand and the Royal Palace Thailand ....Who is older than you and knows the truth .. who really owns the tradition, .. You go to see the Khmer workers in Thailand are all Khmer workers to sell Khmer traditions to Thais, Khmer traitorsreall ..😊😊
