Brit/aussie living in Cambodia here. Glad you got some sunshine, the rainy season ends next month. Last year I saw zero rain from November to April. Always glad to see new people discovering the country. We go to the the much smaller sister island (Koh Rong Sanloem) at least twice a year - as well as no ATMs it has no roads or cars. It's a 2 hour drive to Sihanoukville (we live not far from the Expressway) and then 40 mins on the fastest boat, leaving at 8AM or so. We are normally there before 10. Hoping you enjoyed the island and the country. If you get a chance next time, check out KRS outside of the rainy season, it is glorious. Recommend you take an all day all-in-one fishing, snorkeling and sightseeing boat trip, returning after dark with a swim with the bio luminescent plankton.

I used to have trip there for 3-4 years ago so much fun, miss there so much. Coconut beach, long beach, kaoh touch beach and so many beautiful beach. ❤

@@JordanandEmily I also recommend you both to Kompot Province, the most recommended places for foreigners in Cambodia. You can take the train directly to there.
Why you can’t get into Vietnam it seems strange to me l know that you have to fill out the arrival card to get into Cambodia 7 days before arriving so what happened to you mate???
Since you guys stuck at Cambodia for another week, why not take a look at Kampot at this point? 😂 then you can catch a bus to Vietnam later since it close to the border anyway
