As a Cambodian, who’s studying abroad in Australia, I’ve been binge watching your videos everytime I miss my country 😭 genuinely love to see the way you speak so kindly of our people and your generosity, have a great trip Chris!
I left Australia and now live in Phnom Penh. With a population of only 17 million, Cambodia has so much potential, excellent health system, great customer service, culture, people, food and weather. Remember, if it's hot during the day, then it's perfect at night, so much so that the night life here is fantastic. Condos are also really cheap. Of the 2 options for getting a retirement visa, Thailand and Cambodia, the latter was just so much easier. Seriously, Cambodia is so underrated.
The lady who sell cake, she said total price is 100K Riel but the interpreter told you 10K. Maybe she is wrong with English. But if you buy all, most seller will give you a special price. So she sold out to you for 70K. Thank you so much Chris for your support. The cake is called "Nom Plae Ay". It is a traditional cake as well.
Chris, you're such a kind hearted person. You are so humble and down to earth. I subscribed to your channel because of your kindness and have BIG heart. Your video in Siem Reap when you gave that old lady $100 was priceless. I know that changed her life. She won't ever forget you and always grateful to your kindness. Thanks for being so kind to Khmer people and people around the world. Have fun in Phnom Penh!
@@Johnne009 It depends of where you live. In Cambodia, most people salary is about $150 to $200 per month. So, $100 goes a long way. It helped her buy a lot of foods for her family or pay some bills. It didn't make her rich, but it helped her for the time being.
Thank you for promoting my country to the world! Your support is invaluable and helps highlight the unique beauty and culture of our nation. We deeply appreciate your efforts.

Great to see that Cambodians are so respectful toward their tourists-they don't touch you, stroke you, bother you, or follow you like they do in other nations. And let's not forget, Chris treats everyone with kindness ❤️ too.
Thank you for supporting all the sellers, it's quite rare because people are always cautious with tourist traps or scams which there's nothing with that, it's just there's less giving now because of that. You are rare and have a good heart
