    I think the negative commenting folks should do their own videos and we can give our negative comments to them. This is the exact reason why I would never do a video, she is doing a great job of sharing her knowledge with us. It isn't speech class, get over it or quit watching children!

      Right? This is super helpful. Everyone wants everything to be completely perfect, even with DIY lol.

      I totally agree. The ones that are making rude comments don't have the nerve to start their own channel and share their stuff. True, everybody has different taste but, it does not mean that you get a pass to be rude! Although, they do ask for your opinion, if you don't like something, there is a right and a wrong way to express that and being rude is not the way, it's called, CONSTRUCTIVE criticism. Grow up people and let go of your childhood, playground, bullying attitudes! And we wonder why the young people of today act like they do. It's learned behavior from home 😡😤!

      If only one person likes a video, acts on it, creates something they didn't know they could make or inspires them to build on the idea then the video is worth it. Ignore the negative and embrace the positive even if there is only one. Don't judge success by the numbers. No great inventor does! Craft on everyone.

      ORLA S, mod podge is pva, just some crafting company decided to change the name of it and charge 4 times as much for it. It annoys me that there are so many products out there now, especially in the crafting/diy industry, that do just the same. If you are an artist or a builder you will have the knowledge of which products you should be using, but if you are a novice and you fancy having a go at something you get ripped off with these specific products for specific jobs ie paint....rant, rant, time to go to bed I think 😆

    Hope you see this. Would this work on a formica bed table? Do I have to “ prep” the surface first? Great job...quick...simple. My favorite kind of crafts.

      Hello, I am not sure but I always tell people to test an area first and see if it will stick. I just simply cleaned my piece before doing anything. No sanding involve which is a plus. lol

    Are you using actual cotton like fabric? I'd like to take a plain white laminate dresser for my kid and decorate it as an Overwatch (game) themed dresser. I found some pillow/etc type fabric with this theme, but just want to make sure it would work as its large dresser.

    Hi, thank you for the video. I'm wondering if you can help me on what may sound as a crazy idea but, I'm thinking about covering an IKEA laminate with a very tick, good quality shower curtain I fell in love with. Do you think it would work the same as fabric? Any other steps? Thank you in advance.

    Can we use decoupage paper or tissue instead of fabric?

    • @kk3940
      @kk3940 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes but it likely won’t be as durable so I’d make sure to seal it really well. I’ve used decoupage paper on shelves/inside IKEA bookcases & it worked fine.

    Hi thank you for your video. Do you know if this works on super glossy veneers?

    • @crysmrosas
      @crysmrosas  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      DIGIBABE GRAPHICS hello, I would say yes simply because veneer furniture is a thin layer of wood rather than the laminate that is a plastic material. the mod podge I used for this project can be used on wood. For any project test a small area 😀

    I have a fleece blanket that i have never used would it work

    • @crysmrosas
      @crysmrosas  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Angelica Madril um fleece is pretty thick so you would probably have to use a ton of mod podge which probably wouldnt be as cost effecint and the texture would probably would not smooth out very well..like I tell everyone..you can try a small section that wouldn't be visible and test it first to be sure. I personally would not use fleece. Hope this helps.

    • @adriannabcustomfurniture
      @adriannabcustomfurniture 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I know you made this comment a year ago, but my advice if anyone else has this question... try using a staple gun or use industrial strength adhesive (e6000) and apply glue, spread out, then apply apply the fleece. Do it in small sections :)
