By virtue of their masks and their visual presence either on camera or in front of an audience, the members are quite literally the visual externalization of the music without the necessity for an expensive music video. Slipknot shot on high definition cameras kicking ass in a black room like this with sparse, tasteful, and atmospheric lighting is so simple that it's perfect. It's not cliche; it's timeless.
