Thank You for making video! I have exact fridge with same problem. I just screwed it all back up, should be good. Your instructions were right on. Pretty sure your adhesive is from a 3” piece of protection that was wrapped around the end of the coil. 👍🏼
Oh man you saved the day. I was able to get help to remove the panel. You should rename this post with the model bumber and Kitchenaid it will help many many more folks
I’ve been searching everywhere for the model but somehow I decided to look for this specific title . No more cleaning up pool of water and breaking off frozen ice
Hi. I followed your instructions and it was very helpful. I purchased a drain hole clog removable tool kit from amazon and it came with a 5' snake which helped unclogged the drain hole.

Great video! Did the problem ever come back for you? The water started to leak inside fridge again 3 months after unclogging
