The Nashville Predators play a suffocating style of hockey, it was raised another level these playoffs. I don't think the Canucks get enough credit for grinding that series out. Oilers and Canucks should be a closer series than most people think

Here is the thing about this series: The Oilers are going to be pissed off and out for blood. Does that make a difference in the end? I think it will. Edmonton basically toyed with LA. They want revenge from Vancouver. All the best, Trev. Keep up the grind.

I am not the GM so I cheer 100 % for anyone the GM puts our Jersey on and I never stop pulling for them, ever, while they wear it. I have been a passionate fan since our first cup run in 1982 and have never missed even 1 second of any Canuck playoff run since 1982. If you believe Pettersson has dominated and imposed his will on even 5 games since the all-star weekend then I have been watching different games than you. I have watched Pavel, Markus, and Daniel go on long dry spells where they were completely snake-bit but never stopped being their biggest fan. If Pettersson doesn't find his mojo the Oilers, with McDavid, have an opportunity to take it. I am not saying they will but was agreeing with the host in his assessment. The years lost because the Canucks always had # 99 stopping them every year were long and dark and I have no desire for that again. Not this year anyway. Go Canucks Go. Sorry if you think observing things that happen makes you less of a fan. I prefer being a knowledgeable fan. I have news for the Oilers fans, Tochett has done what no other coach has been able to do, he got the Canucks to buy into his system and that is something that makes this Canucks team better than any of the Canucks teams before. Pettersson doesn't need to score for us to win, but like he said himself, he has to move his feet.

Nice Vid man. Huge Van fan here and I think it's going to be a tough series for the nux but I feel Oil Nation are underestimating the Canucks as a whole and if Petey plays at even close to 75%, that could be an x-factor. That is a huge IF as he's playing like a shell of himself and so reluctant to shoot the puck. However, I believe the Nurse Ceci pairing will get exposed and if the nux forecheck can get in and hit Bouchard, he's on the soft side imo. Again, the scale is leaning towards the Oil for sure but if Petey starts playing and we get Demko back for say Game 5 or 6, it could be Canucks in 7 with the home ice advantage. Lastly, your comment that the Nux Preds series really should have been a sweep is a bit of a stretch. Give the Preds credit, they played damn hard and Saros was solid with the limited high danger opportunities. Enjoy the series! Peace

Not to mention the canucks stars are really not showing up and the oilers are with McDavid at 11 assists 12 points. Not hard to defend against the Preds they're a mid rebuild team that's been trading away players the last few years. Kings are the better defensive and offensive team. Preds have the better goalie for sure but as an Oilers fan if I could pick one playoff team for the Oilers to play against it would be the Preds. Oilers have absolutely killed them for the past few years.

@@prana16 yeah the Kings were a deeper team(8 40+ point players vs Preds 5 guys) and built for playoff hockey. The Preds went on a similar run the Sens did that one year to make the playoffs. They overachieved hard and got lucky that Van's stars were no shows in the 1st round. They'll need to step it up big time as they're playing 2 of the greatest individual playoff performers of all time this round and a much better team than the Preds
