@@DaemonRayge I mean letting your opponent draw sucks kinda hard since kaijus don’t do that. It’s just normally kaijus are better which is why I made a joke
Personally, I think we all just misunderstood how it worked for a long time. It reads like if you use it it will immediately trigger for the draw on end phase lol
Santa Claws also deals with the Tutle that Spright can summon out.
I feel like Pank is a pretty decent boardbreaker right now. It deals nicely with most SHS endboards, trades alright with Kashtira and is even fine into stuff like Branded
Doesn’t it tribute itself to target and destroy? Seems useless when SHS has like 5 Omni-Negates T1.
@@jumpiestaman100 if they end on Spell Canceller you can beat over it + force an omni afterwards same with 3 mat Apollousa instead.
@@sanenzin7857Yeah, but you still have to deal with Regulus, Baronne and Savage. You dealt with the weakest part of the end board
@@Pyrrha_Nikos I'd say one card dealing with two is pretty good and besides DRNM which would lose to the Spell Canceller end board there aren't many cards that can efficiently deal with that endboard anyway. Golem/Sphere Mode can't be played by a lot of decks.
@@sanenzin7857 Yes, you are dealing with 2 interruptions, but they still have 3 omnis you have to play through. If Pank dealt with Baronne and Savage, then sure, it's much better. But it's dealing with the weakest part of the end board
I thought pank was decent, it deals with ariseheart pretty well and trades really well into apo in shs by battling over it and then forcing one of their omni negates

It most likely won’t. Konami already announced which sets will be in this year’s tins and POTE was not named. But it’ll get reprinted sometime in the future. Maybe Battles or fall’s reprint set. You know like your MAMA & Gold kind of sets

I feel like Slayer is pretty great against Swordsoul due to the new Synchro target from CYAC. You’re essentially getting rid of two negates by using one card as you’ll shuffle something back with Slayer and they’ll have to burn another negate to stop Malong.
Although like any spell it’ll lose to Spell Canceller
12:45 actually ultimate slayer against shs can get rid of a synchro using the new tcg exclusive synchro Golden Cloud Beast - Malong and force a interaction, since malong bounces a card. So its a 1 for 2.
well more like 2 for 3.
I would prefer superpoly in the side. I mean you get rid of savage fleur and apo with just 1 superpoly

@@waiyon1951 dragon knight Dracho-Equiste. It needs a warrior and dragon synchro monster. Fleur is warrior savage is dragon. And it has 3200 what means you can runover the 2400 appolusa.

You forgot the most important board breaker in the format:
Small World into Radian.
Herald is really good, against purrely as well as branded and kash. It gets around ariseheart, mirrorjade without triggering its effect so it has enough targets in the meta
I guess you haven't got a quickplay chained to you and cheat Herald sending a lily in the GY while keeping Noir safe. I would argue VS Branded and Kash it's much better, especially Kash because they have unique Type/Attribute combinations
I hate the facts that we absolutely need boardbreakers that cant be responded to like kaijus
Just a quick reminder josh: 12:15 Dragon Knight Draco-Equiste is a good card vs superheavy and is somewhat viable in branded the only issue is the ed (its usually very tight because you have to play multiples since kashtira exists)you either play garura or you play this instead. Nonetheless good content as always love your streams and videos. Keep up the work❤❤❤
If Forbidden Droplet is becoming bad, then I have to move towards the decent through very great cards to add to my Omni • HERO deck.
I played against SHS
He made don qliphort, pendulum summoned in the zones, used don qliphort effect to search spell canceller (lv5 machine), made saryuja and special summoned from the hand spell canceller. 😅
So he ended on baronne, borreload savage, spell canceller.
I normal summoned sangan, made almiraj, he LET ME search with sangan santa claws (he didnt know lmao), and I tributed spell canceller then used dark ruler. 😊
It was epic until he dropped nibiru on my accesscode and full combo'd again next turn 😅
The funniest translation of santa claws is in portuguese, which is PAPAI DOEU, which means DADDY IT HURTS (santa clause is PAPAI NOEL in português)
a genuine question, how kurikara is a hand trap?
You can thrust Into a dimensional barrier going 1st for when you get hand trapped. D barrier is good against shs calling synchro which forces them to depend on link and xyz which is to sargas into regulus and make zuess or link into appo or accesscode. So you know what to deal with. Or you can d barrier for xyz against purrely which protects you from a multiple material zues or noir.
You can even call Pendulum to make the scale get stuck without giving them a search or a body if you have another interruption that can potentially make them end on an empty board. Also calling Xyz VS Kash takes away their most OP plays. Personally i believe D-Barrier is severely underrated, and borderline banworthy.

I want to warn people who Kaiju Purrely, if they have My Friend and/or Stray Street out, they are going to get a notable refund on resources, so if you do it, make it count. Knock them out fast or set up a crazy board cause that Noir is coming back!

Or.... set D-Barrier/TCBOO to turn-skip them if you didn't OTK them already. Purrely is such a refreshing concept but with Kaijus getting representation and decks like Kash that hard-counter them (on top of some bs floodgates people run dedicated for them) I find it really hard to believe it's on equal footing to SHS/Kash.
I hope i'm wrong on that, the deck has a lot of representation to get good results.

It’s probably likely that SHS will have near T0 representation, while Purrely will have the next highest representation.
Based on recent locals and regionals, it was like…60% SHS at least.
Also, as much as I like it, I do not foresee Ultimate Slayer ever being used in any format whatsoever. The fact that it’s not a QP makes it already very bad, and you’re trading 1-for-1 for a single spin, which can also be negated by spells/traps.
Kash will see more success at higher level events. SHS pretty much can't play effectively under Ariseheart.
@@orga7777With 17 slots in their deck for staples, you get punished for ending on Ariseheart pass by a single Gamma (on top of Kaijus) while they have the potential to stop your Diablosis zone lock through multiple disruptions.
It's Shifter/Droll main + the really solid Kash core that makes them go toe to toe with them, but SHS is the better deck.
Still i do agree, SHS will have the most representation, purrely will have the 2nd, but Kash will have the greatest conversion rate on top tables (it's rogue killer, strong matchup against Branded/Purrely, has good matchup against SHS)
@@babrad The difference I feel is that unlike SHS (which can't run spells so is locked into hand traps) or Purrely (which just has a bad matchup against Kash in general) Kashtira still has a very lean engine that created A LOT of space for non-engine which is WAY MORE easily adaptable to the meta game compared to its compatriots. Mostly because Ariseheart is a total pain for most decks to play under at all. Ir is also significantly harder to plan for because it can play around all its outs effectively and it makes the opposing player have to open the specific right card into the board the Kash player is making or they lose.
I bugs me so much that each time you mentions Expurrely Noir and you show Epurrely Noir instead.

Slayer sends the new TCG exclusive Synchro that bounces an opponent's card if it's sent to the GY. This way you can out a SHS Synchro (or a random Branded Synchro like Dis Pater or the Despia one) and force out a negate, making the card a 1 for 2 trade. It doesn't really work against other decks though, because it trades 1 for 1 against Kashtira and doesn't trade at all against Purrely

How does it trade with Kash when Ariseheart doesn't even let it activate? With Purrely it doesn't work on Noir but at least it can turn off "My Friend" (still TERRIBLE but at least activatable)

Book cards being tier 2 was the right call. Crazy vs. Kash & trades 1 for 1 against most decks
Here coping with blind second sky striker and yeah, there’s no one boardbreaker to main vs everything, not even a good spread of handtraps and/or multiple boardbreakers to do the trick. I guess the real problem is with followup, hence why the deck is so bad right now, everything will outgrind me or kill me on the crackback. Thrust kinda helps mostly to get Engage but sometimes is not even enough…
I still like books just because theyre defensive and can be used to stall out a turn so you dont get otked. During battle phase, just book them and they wont be able to put the damage out that they thought they would.

Dont think steal cards are unplayable agaibst purrely. If you stop them from making noir by e.g. banishing it witj cherries, you can triple tac a plumb and make a fat zeus
Great video but I was really bothered that every time Ex-Purrely Noir was mentioned, E-Purrely Noir was shown instead. That card doesn't come out until DUNE.

The card basically needs more cards in hand to bait enemy's distruptions for it to work as board breaker, the card on its own does nothing...

You probably just make a generic board with negates (Apollousa, Borrelsavage, Shi En) or set up a weird loop now. The loops are too inconsistent and other Decks make "unbreakable boards" better these days. However, it is definitely still a fun deck to play. Just don't expect it to be the best Deck anymore, manage your expectations :)
Try that deck in master duel before (play f2p of course) before you spend money on it, you will see how competitive it is at the moment.
Does Kurikara goes to your opponents possesion after you summoned it? BEcause I am thinking of puting it in my Mikanko deck.

Didnt get why kurikara over ra and lava golem? I mean, you need resources to force the negates to make their monsters able to be tributed. Isn't that worse?
You don't lose your normal with kurikara

I run Ash, droll, impermanence in main.

You can draw multiples and still use them all unlike Kaijus.
Some decks use it as a Small World bridge.
Plays around the Numen lock some Spright decks do.
