The cricket shirt being bought in a market for 3000 is not worth, most of the times they sell replicas
I don't mind paying tourist prices in countries like Sri Lanka when here in the west we are paying 90% mark up price, made in Sri Lanka for $3 sold in the US for $50.
You should have asked at several shops for its price instead of settling on the first shop. The extra money could have been a nice tip for the most honest shopkeeper
