      Will you provide me with some information regarding the cost and the accessibility from Kathmandu

    • @TheMenWhoStareAtMountains

      Sure! From Kathmandu you can take a bus or a jeep to Syabru Besi. Both start from Macha Pokhari bus parl. Bus is about 600 Nepalese rupies, shared jeeps start from 800 to 1000 rupies. Private jeeps are much more expensive. Same numbers for going back to Kathmandu from there. Its about 8h drive one way. The Langtang National Park permit is 3000 rupies. I don't know if there is a discount for Indian nationals. Then about 2000 to 2500 rupies should be enough for every day on the trek for food and lodging depending on what you eat. If you only drink water and eat Dhal Bat you might make it on under 2000 rupies per day.

    Hey guys! I hope you will see this. I have been reading about Tibetan culture for many years now and am planning an adventure to Nepal to do the Langtang Trek and would love to do the Tamang as a detour during my Langtang trek. I can’t find a ton of info on it tho. If I were to do the Langtang and Lamang, all the way back to kjangjin ri summit, how many days would this be altogether?

    • @TheMenWhoStareAtMountains
      @TheMenWhoStareAtMountains  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Kenyon! You would need 1 day to go to Syabru Besi on road, then about 5 days to do the Tamang Heritage Trail and 5 for Langtang incl. Kjangjin Ri and back down to Syabru Besi. Then 1 day back on the road.So you'd need 12 full days from Kathmandu. If you have more time, there are more daytrips you can do in Langtang valley. Here is our video about Langtang with all the info you might need: th-cam.com/video/2EpO3xrpEiI/w-d-xo.html
      Or you just ask again! :)

      @@TheMenWhoStareAtMountains awesome! So from syabru besi to get to the Tamang trail would I then proceed to gatlang, tatopani, and Thuman until I reach the lama hotel?

    • @TheMenWhoStareAtMountains
      @TheMenWhoStareAtMountains  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Between Thuman and Lama Hotel you would probably stay in Kangjim for a night. The rest is correct.

      @@TheMenWhoStareAtMountains great! And one more question, I will most likely be going on this journey alone. Is it easy to find places to stay at the tea houses when you just show up by yourself?

    • @TheMenWhoStareAtMountains
      @TheMenWhoStareAtMountains  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not an issue at all. Worst case would be to have to share a room, but the number of hikers is still far from normal, so I'd say that's veeeery unlikely.
