normally you drive half of mario circuit's track upside down, hence the different layout. definitely not just the "basic figure 8"

There's a really good Wii U Shy Guy Falls remake, I'm surprised they don't use that one tbh. It's also weird to see there are tracks missing because every Wii U track has been remade in this game.

That’s because the version in the video is a bit old at this point, the devs are at work on the next version which should be coming soonTM and that version will in fact include those missing tracks along with things like Kirby Air Ride courses and some of the AMAZING custom tracks we got this year like seriously 2023 has been a banger year for MKWii modding. Strobenz for example has been pushing the game to do things I never thought possible, look up his Cryo Volcano course for example where the track starts with the environment being a typical grass area only to have the volcano in the background erupt by the start of turn 2 and slowly morphing the area in an icy track with even the appropriate collisions.

Half of Mario Circuit takes place upside-down on the opposite side of the track, so that’s why they had to change it so much for the demake. Seems like Bathaniel wasn’t aware of that
