"Emolga not being the best pokemon" Bro, Emolga is one of the most OP pokemon I've ever used during my game plays,I think it's just because of my luck since my Emolga dodges a lot and I don't even know how
@@PinkVanillish My Emolga is so strong and I don't even know how,I think it's just luck, but I'm happy to have such an OP Emolga that can dodge and crit so much
Fantina from pokemon platinum could make the list. her mismagius is absolute bonkers at the 22-26 levelrange. it even has a stab shadowball attack already which is quite literally broken at this state of game. plus additional coverage in magical leave and psybeam. her duskull knows will-o-whisp which can criple your pokemon if you're not cautious enough. her haunter is annoying aswell with hypnosis however it doesn't deal much dmg since she play her haunter with physical attacks.
One i think you missed was Crasher Wake in platinum. Varied pokemon, all of them being pretty strong and covering each other's weaknesses somewhat, and comes at a point where being underleveled is likely. Grass types can't do that much against this gym because Gyarados gets hit by neutral and Floatzel has ice type moves, electric types need the Quagsire taken care of (specially because the ai will actually switch into it when you use an electric type), and there's very few actually good electric and grass types in the game in general and doing this gym without them can be a bit of a struggle
First video i watched of your like the editing style and some actual fresh takes (i’m tired of seeing whitney at the top of these lists a guy in the department store hands you the our)
Charen is the hardest for newbies, it’s easy if you paralyze his Pokémon with Mareep or catch the fighting type Riolu, but as someone who played BW2 as a noob… win on the 5th try lol
Elesa's battle easily turns into a cake walk if you use one specific Pokemon: Drilbur. Drilbur can be caught as early as Wellspring Cave in the dust clouds. It's ground typing completely prevents her pokemon from using volt switch, so the main gimmick of the battle is just gone. The big reason you want Drilbur and not Sandile is because Drilbur learns Rock Slide at level 29 which is perfect against her pesky Emolga. However that does over level it slightly if you're playing B&W1 since her Zebstrika is level 27. However if you're playing B2W2, it's level 30. As for Clay, even if you didn't pick Oshawott as your starter, he can become pretty easy to beat if you know what you're doing. I recommend using Tirtouga with Solid Rock for it's ability. Typically, Tirtouga would take 2x damage from a ground type attack, but Solid Rock reduces that damage to only 1.5x. That paired with it's high defense, means that it'll tank just about any physical attack it's hit with, even if its super effective.
It took me an uncountable amount of tries to defeat Elesa! Granted I was an idiot and misunderstood the anime logic and thought it was Rock that was immune to electric, not ground, so i stocked up on rock types to try and counter her.... it failed..... My strategy ended up being overleveling dewott to Samurott to tank her electric types, and using Liligant's sleep and lifesteal moves to stall all 3, especially the Zebrstika! This strat was a double edged sword cause samurott was weak to electric, and if that zebra woke up, it's immediately use flame charge. As a result, I started to use a Zebstrika on my team in white.... She had that much of an effect on me... BW was overall a difficult game, with the trifecta being the triplets, Elesa and Ghetsis.
The Rock Tomb TM is available before Elesa. Ground and Rock was always great type coverage. The player should not rely on their starter for every single major battle in the game. I believe Grovyle vs. Wattson is more difficult than Elesa. All three Unova starters struggling vs. Elesa is not as unfair as the Hoenn games forcing players that chose Treecko to have Breloom, Hariyama, or Geodude on their team.
No need to be ashamed I did as well it's that goddamn Starmie with Water Pulse RnG confusion and even swift does a good amount of damage, plus she's got full heal, Recover, and super potions you literally need an Ivysaur Wipingbel or Gloom to Win even then it's 50 50
Its weird because i didn't struggle at all with neither the electric nor normal type gym leaders in BW that are usually considered somewhat hard because the Roggenrola line just sorta walls them. Like Roggenrola tanks the Watchog just enough to leave it at really low HP, and Eviolite Boldore despite being an absurdly inconsistent fraud of a pokemon can still tank way more than it should when it feels like it. People are really sleeping on that line in BW1 half the enemies have a supereffective move against it and it's slow as shit but when it hits it really hits
@@PinkVanillish Boldore with Eviolite honestly doesn't seem to be that far behind from Gigalith in BW1. Like Gigalith has more damage and the bonus of being able to have an item (which unless you grind the battle subway it's not THAT big an issue for most of the game), while Boldore has more bulk and it's damage is usually good enough against the enemies you'd actually bring it out against. Gigalith still better probably and trade evos do be cringe tho
Am currently playing pokemon volt white 2 and just got defeated by eleesa today in this version she has a team of five including (emolga, zebstrika, ampharose, lantern, electabuz) Ampharose is electric dragon type and have dragon pulse discharge volt switch and thunder wave ,electabuz is her ace zebstrika can use overheat. i just got bullied on her gym every gym is much more tough and getting a badge takes effort a excellent version of white 2
While I never had much trouble with The Cow, it's interesting that Johto's 3 Toughest Gym Leaders are its 3 female leaders. I always found Jasmine difficult then Pryce a pushover afterward. Also Lenora's retaliate is devastating.
Oshawott really isn't that good for Clay due to Dewott's frail and slow build. If you can get a hit off it's good, but I think Grass types would be far more reliable with their stab and Status moves.
Grant? Tate and Liza? Alakazam might be strong in gen1 but Sabrina's just spams psywave. Shout out to the dragon gym trainer in BW who spams DD and Dragon Claw and is often harder than Drayden/iris.
Sabrina has better moves & AI in the remakes. Still I agree she isn't tough at all if fought 6th or 7th with your strongest mons. Misty's Starmie is much more of a challenge because of the game trapping you until you beat it & it having incredible stats for what's supposed to be early game. If you picked Charmander & failed to catch & level up Pikachu you are in for a tough fight.
@WaterKirby1994 in context of the video it was gen1 imo nothing in gen 1 is too difficult just tedious. Even misty is easy it just uses bubble beam, so catching oddish or bellsprout will move that.
Why you didn't even mention Iono from Scarlet and Violet? She's a monster: Wattrel as a flying type mon is immune to ground and you have to rely on low accuracy rock type moves, Bellibolt could kill any rock or ground type with its water gun, Luxio thanks to intimidate lowers your attack stat everytime it enters the field, last but not least her ace Mismagius that has no weaknesses thanks to levitate+ tera-electric, charge beam now is stab and can raise the special attack stat also it has confuse ray
@@kawaiifennec7335 Iono is certainly interesting her mismagius is scary and with wattrel she has another mon that is immune to groundtype attacks. it's just that other gym leaders are still stronger i would replace grant for iono. another problem is that elesa just outclasses iono. she truely is a huge pain in the ass.
Everyone's 1 encounter with Ghost Pokemon is being confused by their 2 Immunities, 1 of which is to the most common move type. Whether it's Lavender Tower, Your Rival Fight in Azalea Town, Hearthome Gym, or anything else it's something that always surprises unsuspecting new players. Type immunity is rare in the modern game there are only 8 Total not counting abilities & Gen 8 removed the immunity removing moves Gen 3 introduced as well.
