Its not "luck" its called aspirations and inspiration. She obviously has passion for what she does. If you have love for what you do, you wont be scared to do it.

I was confused why she doesn't have that British accent, then i saw she is from California. But I'm sure that in a few months, when I will hear her voice again, she is going to have it.

Well she moved to London in 2005....if she hasn't adopted an accent by now I doubt it will change much at all (at the most a tinge of and English accent here and there).
Her accent sounds slightly English if you listen to the way she pronounces some of her vowels

Her cakes must taste good, she doesn't put as much effort into the looks as a lot of other bakers. Her decorating is very simplistic in design rather than highly intricate and skillful. If she couldn't get the taste bang on I can't see anything special about her cakes otherwise.

It's just the style of the cake. The cake reflects a more rustic appearance. The buttercream does not have to always be smooth and perfect
